Just a little fun to break up this last part of down time before action kicks back up in August. If you could build a all time team at your choosen school how would it look. So many great players over the years i can imagine alot of different combinations at alot of schools.

My all time Clinton team would look like this. Obviously cant put everyone on the team just one combination. Eager to see how everyone elses teams look. I know the Shelby,Wallace,Reidsville,SWO guys can come up with some really good combinations

RB Nick Cooper
RB Willie Parker
RB Jerris McPhail
FB Ralph Smith
WR LC Stevens
WR Brian Howard
WR Kesean Williams
TE Travis(Scooter)Banks
TE JT Cox
OL Ben Buckner
OL Matt Buckner
OL Philip Strickland
OL Daryl Sloan
OL William Shaw

Defense

LB Herbert " 2 Shot" Dixon
DB Jamel Henry
DB Jamar Hicks
DB Brian Williams

Interesting pick at WR leaving off guys like Chico Galloway, Rashad Slade, Isaiah Robinson, Darius Cobb, Julius Graves, Austyn Chestnut, and Raphael Chestnut

Which player do you take off?

I don't think I could take anyone off the list at wr. Who would be your back up rb? That's a big debate

I think I would have a similar team.

Lee Cobb production wise. Antoine Terry could’ve been starter talent alone, he would’ve shattered state records if he got touches tayon did. But a lot to that story

Y’all don’t need my input on a team that has tons of players to pick from but…
Couple of years ago, and I know he was only there for one season, but you had a transfer that scored like 5 TDS and had 20 tackles in championship game. He was also named MVP too…
I joke a lot about Letterlough missing senior year at ER but I do wonder if Lincolnton game might have been different if he had been still in Randolph county.
Oh and this is a great list of players already…

That edenton team was severely outmatched if they played 02-03 Reidsville I can’t imagine how bad that would’ve looked

can't say that I disagree with this - LOL The only one I can think of I might add is Fuzzy Lee, Fuzzy could play any position (rb, wr, db, KR.RR)so you could list him as an Athlete
of course, this is the modern era:1990 - 2021; there were some really great notable ones 1950 - 1980
the 1950's era may be their most prominent

take it from this old guy....Lee Cobb (member of '69 and '70 state title teams) was as good a player that EVER suited up for a Reidsville football team....................and KIDD...Lee is the grandfather of the player you mentioned (Letterlough)...........good genes Huh?

I agree with Brent NcGuirt as a placekicker. His place kicking (EP's and 27 yard FG) as well as punting (out of our endzone 2 or 3 times) in the 1997 championship win against Shelby were pivotal! At one point in his career, I think he held the state record for consecutive extra points.

With just 22 you do leave some people out and as I said I assume this is from 1990--2021 because there are definitely some to be changed if it were all-time. We've had 2 high school All Americans in DarkHorse football in the 1950's.
