Yeah....he was interesting right up to the point that he fabricated a ruling by the NCHSAA. Then he got tossed......but now he is back!!
Now might be a good time to clear something up.
Why was 98/72 State Champion banned?
Here is my understanding.
The NCHSAA did not recognize all NC public high school championship titles fairly and consistently.
In their information to the press and others, they slanted the recognition to favor those teams that belonged to the NCHSAA before and after all came under one umbrella governing body in 1977, which just happened to keep the same NCHSAA name.
They ignored the fact that rival associations prevented a "true state wide" champion from existing.
Therefore, all titles should be deemed "state titles"....or none of them should.
For two years on correcting the matter, NCHSAA protocol was followed to the letter by 98/72. Only when NCHSAA directors chose to abandon their own instructions to settle the matter were other methods by 98/72 involved.
All this is documented.
In the frenzy to ban those involved, no one bothered to ask "why would they do this?".
Simple answer.
Bring attention to right a wrong and set the record straight....even if they risked a banning.
Instead of being roundly criticized, they should have been praised. This country has been built on such "civil disobedience". No one was hurt. And it was peaceful.
After a year away, I think they should be allowed back in and welcomed.
Plus it is more fun when they are around.

Upcoming senior, a little undersized but the kid can ball. Mean streak so he's not afraid of tackling ball carriers on outside runs. Gave moose Muhammad and Bowick fits in the Myers park game.

They never met with anyone affiliated with the North Carolina High School Athletic Association as they suggested and thrown off because of people getting tired of them hi jacking the 4A board talking 2A Football. There was nothing fun about the constant trolling.

Nice. His mom and I graduated together and she was one of my assistants for a while. He's come up in the Shelby system. Another Golden Lion we have lost to the Charlotte system. Marquise Williams was another as was Nick Maddox back in the last 90s. Marquise was actually at several of our playoff games this year and has followed the program closely. Not sure if he has a relative playing right now or something.
But yeah, Jaylen is a good kid. He guarded Muhammad? Wow. His mom took a job in Charlotte which prompted the move. I hope he finds success at the next level.

Do not converse with trolls. Especially not banned trolls. The reason I know your a troll is there are only 2-3 people in the world that care about whether or not the NCHSAA recognizes some irrelevant state title from 30 years ago and they are all in your family.

Mallard Creek is looking for a game. They will do the same deal they did with Scotland, Byrnes, and Dillon. Guarantee from gate and split of excess. Standard agreement from what I have see in the past. This would be a good one to line up. I expect they would go to Shelby for two straight years.
I'm with Hopewell out of Charlotte and B&G is with T.C. Willimas from Alexandria VA, AKA remember the Titans movie.
Would be a good one! Shelby returns most of the players from this year's State Championship team. All offensive specialists save two WRs who weren't huge contributors and only losing our guards of the offensive line. We platooned about 14 guys on defense. Most rotating was on the D-Line. Of those 14, only 5 are graduating...2 DBs (one who signed with JMU today), an LB (who signed with NC State Today) and 2 D linemen. We have some pretty athletic guys from a 10-0 JV team to fill those spots. Next year's team should be pretty stout....better than this year's team.
How do y'all think Hough will do with Byrnes? Will Hough be as good next year as they were this year?

I agree with you. I come on here with serious intentions and nobody takes me seriously. I think my good looks are a distraction preventing serious dialogue. I’m not weird, I’m simply abnormal, that’s what my Doctor told me anyway.
The only thing I’ve been banned from is all-you-can-eat Buffet Restaurants.
