Too many classifications, too many playoff teams.
Five or six classes of 32 teams would be perfect.
About 390 schools have football programs. Five classes of 32 would be 160 qualifiers. That is over 40% of the schools in the playoffs. More than enough!

Still wondering how they will do 1A playoffs with numerous charters not playing football.
Bump them all up into the 2A bracket until they do field teams
They might just go ahead and give the trophy to the black knights lol
Playoffs just a participation trophy first round at all levels other than maybe 8A. Coaches with 2 win seasons can put on their resumes that they were in playoffs.
