WM travels to South Stanly this week. South appears to be much better this year. WM is playing very well right now but has several things they definitely want to clean up on over the coming weeks. Thoughts and predictions?

I think our JV guys get some play time in this one....and we will probably see more passing plays or at least some practicing of passing plays.
If any WM fan is bored with the pregame stuff.... there's an interesting little battle brewing on TOS..... the NS/WM thread sucked in a cross county rival and it's getting good....
Just predicted EM to win out and have the #1 seed for playoffs..... He's pretty much been singing that song all season.
I feel like SS will see our 2nd string and JV's in the second half. This might be a like a live practice and a good opportunity to try some new stuff. But, I'm sure WM isn't taking this team lightly.
South is coming around at the right time. They had some growing pains, but this young group is going to be pretty good over the next two or three years for sure. I've heard great things about the j.v. / freshmen group too.
Don't know who lion is but he is all about his team. Over board at times but I'm pretty sure everybody on here is proud of there teams. Some are louder than others. It would be great if EM could beat WM but realistically they will have to play at there 100% best. For now we have NM to deal with and WM has SS coming up. I don't post on the other sight but WM77 should realize that we all live within a close proximity of each other and perhaps shop at the same places, eat at the same places, do business with one another, or even go to church together. Saying that "you know how they are on the other side of the river" is wore out. Not a very smart comment by any means. It's just a game....
Got a lot of friends on both sides of the river, so I agree with you on that. The problem I have with that guy is he uses justifications to cut on WM that have no real basis. Yes, NS was without some starters. So was WM. This is 1A football. It happens. Every team, every week. The logic used at times drives me crazy. Oh well, moving on. Good luck this week.
Your right about that, he is unrealistic in some of his observations. There is no room for an EM poster to talk crap or imply anything about WM. Fact is you guys have a great team and for EM to have any room to talk then they will have to beat WM. I'm very proud to be where we are right now but also realize that the conference is down and that the true gauge of how far we have come will be in 2 weeks. Good luck this week.
You guys are doing great and I'm glad things are looking up for the rivalry, both now and hopefully for years into the future. It is good for the schools, the county, and the conference. Take care of NM this week.

I keep saying that SS is on the rise. They have a good group coming for the next three years or so.... Could they be the one to replace Albemarle as the YVC rival to WM? I hope so. The conference needs a little more push on the top end.
WM will cruise in this one if they play like they have on the Defensive side of the ball the last few weeks. Should be exciting to watch! I hear SS has greatly improved so we will see what happens with that. WM Offense will score whenever they want to! I just hope they can keep SS from putting up too many points.

The Stanly Cup was stolen by East Montgomery when they swept through a couple of weeks ago. It is our solemn duty to recapture the hardware and bring it back to Wadeville with us when we come.

Here's your chance to get that big victory over WM big man. Show what you "know." Jo Leake did not even play last night in the varsity game as a precaution and you say we would risk him , and the team for that matter, on JV. You are an idiot and I don't believe for a second "his kin" said anything like that. That kid that dusted you is a freshman named Damon Rhone. Or it was Jo's brother Jatavian who is a sophomore and the other running back on JV. You need to get your facts straight before you start running your mouth about stuff you have no clue about.
