West Bladen @ Whiteville

Pack wins this one big, 35 - 6. Game ends with running clock and no players on the field for final minute. Wolfpack QB takes a knee and is leveled by #2 of West Bladen. This kid should be kicked off the team. I do not know what was said but one of W Bladen coaches was escorted off the field. No place for this in High School football.

I was at this game and WB coach kicked several kids off during the game so I am sure #2 is gone as well. Hated to see a game end like that but actually both head coaches were escorted off the field. From what I could see they were not happy that the refs weren't controlling the game, not upset with each other. But I could be wrong, terrible situation all around.

I left to early for all the action. Whiteville could be pretty good but they have to clean up the yellow flags and turnovers. It will be a long year for WB in conference

I left at the start of 4th . I did notice a lot of talking and little extra going on both sides. I agree with JD, think Pack could be pretty good if they clean it up a little. Kind of felt O would continue to improve with time as long as the kids have bought into the new offense, and they appear to have done just that. Looks like it starting to click with the QB and he is reading a little better. Should continue to improve as the season wears on. Looks as though Coach Scott had a little soul searching on D. Don't think I can remember this young of a team, and I have been here for a while, future looks bright. Have to admit QB especially has come a long way since Jamboree . Good luck to WB the rest of the way, hope your QB is OK.

Buck congratulation on a good win. I thought it would be better game. Just goes to show you can't judge a team by playing West Columbus.. WB looked great against us. Again so did Trask last night,and they were not that good at all.
Whiteville scores as much as Luke. wants vs WC. Scott does great job with getting Defense ready. Good luck to Pack!

Both head coaches were "disqualified" not ejected Thursday night. Friday, the NCHSAA office and local official's booking agent rescinded DQs after talking with coaches, officiating crew and viewing film. Determined that neither DQ was warranted.I have comments from West Bladen coach Todd Pait about what transpired during the game. I heard the interview with Coach Pait of W. Bladen, he showed a lot of class and gained my respect. Saw a very similar classless act from an LSU player yesterday.

I just listened to it and I think West Bladen will go far with that guy, not just in wins and losses. Wish more coaches, and fans, would concentrate on doing the right thing. I actually have a relative on the team and he said Coach Pait was intense but very high character coach.
