Hope to see the Stallions get a little momentum going this week at practice and carry it into Friday night. I’m gonna take South 28-14.
Ahem….West Bladen didn’t look as bad as I expected in the SamCo jamboree. Who knows but be warned, lol. Could be close.
Brother you ain’t telling anyone that’s around South Columbus football anything they don’t already know. I’m probably as disgusted with a performance as I have been in years.Ahem….
West Balden 29
SColumbus 22
Final
Not only that… if we’re gonna throw the ball it has to get out quick…. The qb can’t be running around like he’s playing backyard football… and for the love of Jesus never roll one way and throw across the field the other way!!All I’ll say is this, can we please for the love of god try at least 10 plays a game under center, legit old school wing T. That’s it. I’m out on that one, trying hard not to pour out more negativity.
I would guess around 30 or soHow many players does SC have this season?
I would disagree … South Columbus looked to be a better team overall last night imo than west Bladen … they put together better drives outside of penalties and turnovers… which is fixable…. West Bladen just had big plays 40 plus yard gains on passes and a flute punt return where the ball just bounced their way …I think alot times people haz to face facts.U don’t have the players to compete.u don’t have nothing to be ashamed of .The problem is s Columbus is living in the past.Offense changes an players r stronger an faster.
Ima have to call bull**it on that. You come In here with your half witted opinions on a program you’re clearly not familiar with and not around any at all. South Columbus has the size and skill position players to be a .500 team this year but lack of emphasis on weight lifting and coaches holding players accountable are the reasons for the outcomes of games like last night.I think alot times people haz to face facts.U don’t have the players to compete.u don’t have nothing to be ashamed of .The problem is s Columbus is living in the past.Offense changes an players r stronger an faster.

I am from this area.U r happy with a 500 team. This team is 2-8 at best..U don’t have the athletes to compete. But keep living in past, don’t produce future championsIma have to call bull**it on that. Offense line looked 100x better last night than at the jamboree also… when they wasn’t holding that is lol…So USER, you don’t think South has any hope of turning things around? I’m just not ready to give up so easily, hopefully the offense will be get better after seeing some film of the game. Defensive line may be best part of the team but they gotta get in better shape. As far as athletes, maybe there are some kids that aren’t playing that really hurts the team, just a few players can make a huge difference.
Agree with this post 100% The defensive line played good football, coach Greene has those guys fighting and I loved watching it. What gnawed at my insides the most last night is watching your best offensive player come off the field every other play for no good reason at all. I know these are high school kids we are talking about and they play the games because of their own set of reasons but come on man, have some fight to wanna be in the game and go down and score to win it. Idk “I’m just living in the past” I guess.Offense line looked 100x better last night than at the jamboree also… when they wasn’t holding that is lol…
Dline is good but they take plays off every now and then…. Need to be more consistent…
To say this team doesn’t have talent is ignorant… are they stacked? …. No but they’re still very young too… once things start clicking for these juniors and sophomore’s on the varsity level these Stallions could be something to deal with by the end of the year into next year…
One thing I noticed is that we don’t have a bruiser at RB … I’m used to our running backs really pounding the rock… seems like the ones this season avoid contact…. They’re on the small side so I get it… that doesn’t mean they’re not good…. I just wonder if there’s someone somewhere on this team that could be that ground and pound fullback that’ll get you 1-3 yards when you need it most… maybe try someone that plays defense that isn’t worried about contact in that roleAgree with this post 100% The defensive line played good football, coach Greene has those guys fighting and I loved watching it.
