Warren County @ SWO: Play-by-Play Here Tonight !!

What has become A Tradition at South West ..... At least a second round apperance in the Playoffs, And More. While The Eagles of Warren County are in uncharted territory. Last playoff game was in 1998.

On Offense the Eagles seem to be on par with SWO. WC has averaged 30.5 pts. a game vs the Stallions of SWO who are puttin up just under 34. Of the 34 total pts allowed 21 were to North Side.

The Big difference is on Defense, WC has allowed 23.4 a game and SWO 6.8. The scales tip in the favor of WC on size a little. They run the Wing - T with the QB Wortham being it seems the Man with 1513 rushing and 19 TDs. The counter for SW is Ottey Edge to SWO on the passing game, and I think kicking.

If WC is thinking a #5 seed compares to the #4 they beat last week, they will wake up and smell the Roses pretty quick. Harder Hitting, Faster, and with more options thrown against them.

Billy and Melvin have turned on the transmitter at the SWO World Wide Broadcast Facilities high above the Corral at South West Onslow HS. Stand by for Comments by Coach Padgett on tonights game.

Good blocking last week. A great night. We had a few glitches but hope will improve.

No re-do button in the playoffs ......

WC is not real fast on the outside .....Hope we can take advantage of that.

The QB dosnt throw much .....he can throw OK.

Their go to play is kicking out the TE and run off tackle.

Their line is Big with good size. The DE are athletic as well as the LBs. I think their Def is solid

Their kick game is not as strong as ours, they usually dont kick PATs

We have a couple still banged up. Will try and get em going tonight.

We had a fairly good week of practice,

WC with good size we will have to sustain the blocks.

On defense we HAVE TO GO TO THE BALL. Cant sit back and let them come to us.

Commnets by other around the program have said they noticed the ATTITUDES HAVE CHANGED starting last week. As coach says SWO lives for the big game ....the players arnt screwing around in practice or the game. One of the refs last week said after the game, HE WAS INTIMIDATED by the Stallion entrance. During warmup they executed as ONE .... IMPRESSIVE.
