VANCE/MALLARD CREEK SCORE?

The creek need 2 clean up they're play. They had 2 or 3 tds come back because of a bone head penalty. A cpl of 3rd down personal fouls n a fumble td n the end zone. Never seen them play so messy

I'm sure that 2 losses in the regular season will not deter their fans from telling us how great that Mallard Creek is this year though.
until beaten in the playoffs they are still the man in 4aa. this could be the year.
No. This is not without a doubt. They are still very much a top 10 team. To think otherwise is foolish.
We played a good game. One key player for Vance was senior DB Stephen Sings... this kid has locked his last two receivers down. He held Ryan Jones to 0 catches. Sings had some amazing pass breakups on the night.
QB for MC is a LOAD!! He was a force with that zone read option. He runs down hill and does not shy away from contact!! I suspect they will do more of that in the playoffs ( still too early in the season for him to carry that load).

Congrats to Vance on a great win, but until somebody beat MC in the playoffs. You're just talking in the wind. Didn't they lose 2 games last year?.
Agreed and they are not a top 10 National Team and I think even they would agree with that. Lots of talent for sure! Lots of good teams in NC not sure any are great in 4a/4aa ranks.
Top 10 National???, they not top 10 NC RIGHT Now with this result much less top 200 or higher national .
Wouldn't go that far I can't name 10 teams in NC that would beat them. Matter of fact I can't name 5. All speculative though.

Everyone is human and makes mistakes, most Super Bowl winners aren't undefeated. As much as I like to see the creek lose nothing changes except they will report 9-1. It will create an interesting playoff picture. Mallard creek is still a top team and I'm sure the coaches work out things this week.
I'm sure that all the fringe and shadow dwellers will be giving the Mavericks a call for a regular season matchup now !

Lost two games last year. Finished up with a running clock in the title game. Meanwhile back on the ranch some schools go undefeated and get ranked number one and then suddenly a actual QB shows up who can throw a forward pass and its basketball season.

Not true my friend. Earlier this summer all we heard from Mallard Creek guys was how the Mavericks were a national program and number 10 in the nation. There isn't any national playoffs so the national poll is all they had to go by. Will Mallard Creek win it all this year? The safe money says yes but in the meantime there are a lot of NCPREPS guys loving your two losses so far.
Lol..heard from us about what?? We dont have a vote. You'll have to bring up your conern with Max preps or Usa Today. As you know those rankings are based on previous seasons, D1 recruits( 51 and counting for MC) and schedule. Maybe when Scotland wins 3 titles in a row, has more than one or two college players on their roster and play a actual schedule they can be recognized.

All bullshit aside how would you know. Give me the one QB you have faced that prepsres your team to face a Hooker, Ifedi or some of these crazy offenses way out east. All you can do is hope your ready.
I can't. Just like you can't tell me one defense with players like ours that they have faced. We can go back and forth with this all day long. Come the middle of December one of us will be right and the other will be right. I like my chances right now.
I was only kidding when I said the creek went dry, most of us agree m.c. is not go in anywhere yet. 2 losses now is no big deal. Better now while you can fix it. Undefeated means nothin after regular season... I'm a richmond fan and I know richmond ain't done yet. I've seen it, you've seen it. The last 5 games are the ones that count, if you get to partake in 5 more after reg. Season. Those 5 games really count. Ain't many teams seen those last 5games. From past season's it's fact once you been there couple times others begin to get envious and hate grows toward your accomplishments from most. Good to play tough schedules... now you fix it... go richmond raiders.
Let's see, we won the State Championship in 2011, lost to New Bern in the East finals in 2012, lost to Dudley in the State Championship in 2013, lost to Hoggard in the 3rd round in 2014 and of course we lost to North Davidson in the "2ND ROUND" in 2015, but you seem to rag on us about the 2nd round lost. Everybody on here is a little sensitive when somebody rags on their team, but anybody with common sense knows that Mallard Creek is still the favorite until somebody knocks them off in the playoffs and Butler looks like they are smelling blood. I have no dislike towards Mallard Creek, but the Wake County boys- well that's a different story!!! GO SCOTS!!!
I'm not ragging on anyone. Never see me post or start a thread about other teams performance or their fans. I will occasionally ask a question. Go_Scots likes to bring MC up a ton. It drives him crazy that it took Scotland like 50 years to win a title but some school that opened in 2007 already has 3. He has been pretty quiet the last couple of years but now he is starting to feel good about himself again . Couple losses by Mallard Creek and he is all unicorns and rainbows.
He forgets we lost two last year as well.
that 8-2 record is gonna make a difference come play off time I was not aware Mallard creek doesn't play an endowment game. Because the Midwest is so rigorous It could drop Mallard creek to a 4 or even somehow a 5 seed

If they have 250 yards in penalties and have 3 tds taken off board they can lose to anyone and seeding wont matter.
However last year they lost two and had to go on road 3 straight weeks and won title. They have the talent to do that again. Frankly the two worst games they have played in the last two years have both been at home.
How do you know what Scotland wants? Just because a couple of fans of Scotland said something about Mallard Creek? As so far as the Scots beating your "Big Six". If we play any of those teams, we'll let the chips fall where they lay and give our best effort to win, but it won't be won on this message board. GO SCOTS!!!!
