Boys.
1a Robbinsville (1-0) over 3a Tuscola 3-8.
3a Asheville (6-1) over 2a Mt Heritage 3-5.

Girls.
1a Robbinsville (1-0) over 3a Tuscola 2-8.
2a Mtn. Heritage (8-0) over 3a Asheville 3-4


Round 2.
Boys.
Robbinsville over Asheville. Asheville is ranked 27th in 3a by Maxpreps. If Franks plays we could win this game. Rabun Gap is the only team to beat Asheville.....YET. THis is only our 2nd week of bball games and even a close loss to Asheville wouldnt be the worst thing.

Girls.
Mtn.Heritage (MaxPreps #7 in 2A) in a close one over Robbinsville. M.H.has a 6;8' senior that will be hard for Robbinsville to handle. If Robbinsville had played more than one game I would think about picking Robbinsville but the girls need a few more games under there belt this year.

Mtn. Hertiage 82 Asheville 79.
Robbinsville over Tuscola 69-50.

Any girl results?

Dec.30th.
Playing for 3rd is Asheville and Tuscola.
Playing for 1st is Robbinsville and Mtn. Heritage.

I still dont know the outcome of round one girl games.

Dont know the score of the girls but I do know that Robbinsville and Mtn Heritage both won and will be playing each other today.
I think Rvillle beat Tuscola by 15 or 20 and M.H. beat Asheville by 10 or 15.

Asheville boys beat Tuscola 80 to 65 for the 3rd and 4th spot.
Dont have a Tuscola vs Asheville girls score yet.

Mtn heritage girls win the tuscola tourney with a 59 to 42 win of the Robbinsville girls. Lady Knights cut the lead to single digits after the half but M.H. was just to strong. Maybe if Robbinsville had played more than 2 games it might have made it alittle closer.

Last I heard Robbinsville boys was winning at the half 30-28.

Mtn heritage boys and girls both beat Robbinsville. Boys was close. 4 points I think. Boys lost was a real shocker to me.

Bk did Skyler not play against Mtn Her. I didn't see his name in the box scores ?

He played. Was in foul trouble most of the game. I can only say this...We were up 14-2 and next thing I know they were in the double bonus! Don't like to blame officials because we play extremely hard, but anyone there can tell ya it was as 1 sided as it gets. Heritage has a good team but without our starters being in crazy foul trouble I think we win fairly easy..IMHO

OK, its probably hard since they just got off the football field just a couple weeks ago. They will be fine. Someone is going to have to tame down Cherokee & Hayesville and Robbinsville has the team to do it

I hope you are right. I think if we can get in "basketball shape" we have a good chance. Lots of games with very little practice could make that a tough task though. These kids are winners though, so who knows.
