The Trinity League which is a high school athletic conference in Southern California. Does anyone know if North Carolina would give them a run?

Let's rephrase the question. Has there ever been a team in the history of North Carolina that could play in this conference. And for the record the four Metro conference in Florida for the Miami city teams would roll anybody in that League.

Trinity League is not really a traditional High School conference. As teams like Mater Dei, St John Bosco, have about 15 to 20 FBS kids on their roster every year. I have no clue on how that happens, but it's not normal.

Had a friend that coached at Butler NC. Then Loyola CA then In TX and now is the head coach at Brother Rice Ill he said the California private schools were the best in the country hands down and not even the Texas mega schools could beat them on a regular basis. Thing is there are so manly people in Californian the talent is unreal

Most years I would take Bosco and Mater Dei over the Miami teams. Talent level is fairly close, coaching has been the divide.

Trinity League by far
Last season Mater Dei beat traditional Texas power Duncanville 45-3 in Texas. The only teams in Florida that can hang for 4 quarters with SJB or MD is STA and IMG. They have no weaknesses. From COACHING right down to the field goal kicker
Less we not forget about Servite who beat SJB last season and lost to MD by 7.
Just my humble opinion
15-20 FBS recruits as mentioned above is correct, unbelievable talent base but recruiting is also a factor in those numbers
The starting quarterbacks last year as Freshman at Clemson and Alabama came from MD and SJB

QB's are loaded year in and year out.

St. John Bosco played IMG Academy 2019 at home and lost 35-20.
That was St Johns from DC. They are a good team, but the only time IMG has played a Cali team was when they lost to Mater Dei

The best football in America, as of right now, is in the Trinity League. Mater Dei, St John Bosco and Servite would punish just about everyone in the nation, including TX and FL

St Frances from MD is the next best team outside of the Cali teams. They regularly punch FL teams in the mouth too.
