Tom Brown passed away this morning. Hats off to one of the best to ever do it. You will be missed. You made a profound impact on my life that will not be forgotten and I'll do my best to pass it on to any kid that'll take it in.

I sure hate to hear this. Thoughts and prayers going out to his family. Such a sad day for high school football.
Sad news. Winning football games aside, he had a profound impact on a lot of young men over the years.
Tom Brown was one of the best motivators I ever met. He could take his'n and beat yours or take yours and best his'n.
The thing that most impressed me about Tom Brown was his sense of sportsmanship and respect for the game. He was good friends with Thomasville’s coach, Allen Brown. When their teams played each other in the playoffs, the two teams always shared a pregame meal. Both coaches knew that respect for your opponent is one of high school sports’ most valuable lessons. Two fine men who both reached the top of their profession.
