Yes that is a typical Shelby vs Crest game. I think our program says the stadium holds over 7000. I would venture to say with two undefeated teams playing for bragging rights and a conference title, that we may have 8000 or better next week.

Yeah, we enjoy that! Can't stand how that fan base feels like they are the only class of football that matters when they know without a doubt that Crest and Shelby could probably compete with them despite having over a thousand less students. I wish both of us would start scheduling some 4A teams if they would.

Just my feeling- the Crest Justin Foster young man is going to be a big impact in this game when coming off the edge on Lee's blindside. Foster is quite the load for a high school lineman. He uses his hands well to blow by blockers. Then you have Shelby's Dex Hollifield who finds the ball quickly and is always in the tackle. Hollifield stays back mostly allowing for more down linemen. Two key players on defense to watch.
I'm not sure what game you guys are talking about...Shelby plays at Draughn on Friday night and hope to get some of our guys back from injury...9 starters out at one point and I think 7 starters out last week...we'll need to be healthy for the playoffs. Of course, the guys filling in are playing great!
Forget that game. Send the JV team. The only reason a Draughn fan will even show is to make sure their kids don't get hurt.
