Midway through first quarter, Salisbury throws a forty yard td and 2point conversion for 8-0 lead.
Other interesting facts....Thomasville dressing 20 and first ever use of play clocks in Cushwa Stadium.

Salisbury throws a pass that bounces off the hands of the intended receiver and directly into the hands of a streaking receiver. Salisbury 14-0. Two minutes left in first half.

Ninety yard drive by the Hornets. 20-0. Whipping us at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

85 yard KO return for td by the ‘dogs. 20-6.
At some point, after twenty bad snaps, you have to go under center.

Botched snap by Salisbury and T’ville takes over on Hornet 38. Touchdown pass by the Bulldogs. 20-12.

Dogs pick off a pass and return it to the forty. Horsecollar tackle moves it to Salisbury 45. These kids don’t quit.

Dogs pick off a Salisbury pass in the Hornets backfield and return it for a td. 20-18. 2point PAT attempt coming.

Thomasville takes over on downs at their own 40. 2:07 left.

Wonderful to see two of Thomasville’s all-time great fans out tonight....Sam Craven and Warren King. Over 100 years of games between them.

Dogs throw a 60 yard td pass! 24-20 with 1:57 left!
Great job on the game updates. I wish more people would do live game post, and it don’t matter who’s playing. It gives people out of that area an insite on teams we don’t get to see play. Thanks I enjoyed the reading. It had to be a great game

Thanks. I know a lot of folks don’t care about a jv game. But a few of Thomasville’s fans are interested in the future of the Dogs. Sloppy game in a lot of ways, but a great deal of heart and grit by a bunch of fifteen year olds. I’ve been amazed for the last two years at the maturity they have shown in games. Not easy to step out there with 16-20 players on the team and still play until the last whistle. Hope the varsity kids took note.
Appreciate you reading.

No it’s not easy. I wish more kids would try football. I will guarantee the kids that play football will at least get some discipline and learn how to work as a team. I love reading any information about jv teams it gives you a ideal about the teams future, plus good information like your live game updates, especially if you read it all at one time is real interesting not many teams go down 20 to 0 and come back a win
Good luck to Thomasville.
