Lol. SWE fumbles the opening snap and gives it to Tarboro at the SWE 41.

Defense did an outstanding job against 3A Hunt last week. But they have their work cut out for them tonight. Our inefficient offense needs to help them a lot tonight. But we're so poorly coached. Penalties are gonna kill drives like they've done all season long.

Huge run to the right by SWE. Got away with a late blindside block🤷🏾‍♂️. SWE down to the 25.

Another fumble by the QB nearly gives the ball up. No matter, as a penalty backs us up. Play after play, we run a dive or off tackle. Two receivers to one side, but they are fooling no one, as Tarboro continues to stack the box. And we keep right on, trying to ram our heads into a wall over and over. The offensive drive was great defense, keeping Tarboro off the field for a while, but T.O.P. doesn't matter if you don't score. Turnover on downs at the Tarboro 25.

Amazing 50+ yard td run. We had hands on him, but between poor tackling and the runner juking the snot out of our defenders, he took it to the house. 2pt no good. 12-0 Tarboro.

Was about to beg and plead for a play that's not a run up the gut. Just tried a sweep, but we don't have the speed.

Nothing doing this drive, so we punt inside the Tarboro 10.

Defense just did an outstanding job keeping Tarboro pinned inside the 20 and forcing a punt.

You want a surefire sign that the Cougar Family isn't happy? Look at the stands. You can actually find a seat. I've never been to Tarboro with it not being over crowded.

Had the man in the end zone for a 50 yard touchdown catch, but he didn't complete the catch and lost it coming down. Dang!

Defense is shining now! We stop Tarboro again, 3 and out, and block the punt! SWE ball at Tarboro 35. Offense, please help!

Finally figured out that running into a wall is crazy and are now airing it out. Gotta complete some of these passes though. They're there. But we can't catch worth a damn.

SW is gonna have to play offense like Northern Nash and Hertford county. Look for two pass options, if nothing is open, tuck and run.

It's the offense, man. That's what it's been since the coaching change. Offense doesn't produce, defense gets worn out, and that's how you get blowout losses. Northern Nash, Hunt, and now Tarboro have all been the same...failing offense that leads to more scoring opportunities for the opposing team. We beat North Edgecombe only because they are North Edgecombe. The defense is a defense that can get us wins IF the offense can put some points on the board. It's like they get inside the 30 and get scared of the goal line.

We should have hired Coach Hurdle, I know for a fact he applied for the job. Imagine SW running the "Tarboro T".

I'm sure not. But the scheme works. The read is often on the outside lb. He drops to cover tailback, the QB tucks and run. Simple
I think he had the field on that 4th down play to run and make moves. I thought he was off. He tucked it, but then pulled up to pass.

The SWE defense turns Tarboro over on downs, stopping a 4th down run at the 50. Whatever the score ends up being, I will come out of this game once again impressed with that side of the ball. Hats off to them.

SWE goes deep and finally catches one.... Out of bounds. We punt to the 18 after a 3 and out.

Tarboro gets nice runs, but the SWE defense forces a punt again. SWE ball at their 15. Please, no turnover.

SWE can't convert the 4th down run, and Tarboro takes it to the house on the next play, 55 yards. Good 2pt, 20-0.
