Sumter SC Assistant job

Sumter High School (Sumter SC) is looking for an Assistant Coach with a PE certification for defensive backs, linebackers, or outside linebackers, whichever is the best fit. The supplement range is $14,700 to $17,700 on top of the Sumter School district teacher pay scale. We are looking to make the hire before May 10th. Oh yeah, just advertise SC jobs on here, so they can poach more of our coaches. Is this NCPreps or SCPreps ? Maybe Lowman saw this and goes to SC. Also, I saw on the 4A boards the same complaint that I copied and pasted.

It is a known fact that SC pays considerably more for football coaches and teachers pay. I am sure all Surry county, Mt. Airy and Elkin coaches are well aware of this. Despite the fact that most people think coaches hate each other, they are a very tight knit fraternity.

One last thing, that $14,000 to $17,000 supplement for a position coach is more than most Head Coaches make in NC.
