Information is below regarding The 2nd Annual Roy McBryde Invitational at Forest Hills High School. Last year's tournament was a great success and we plan on topping it this summer. We again anticipate this being a very competitive event with many unique features, including: tournament play format, 6 game guarantee, trophies/awards for tournament champions and runner-up, championship t-shirts, ALL NEW "Coaches Choice Game", and a coaches hospitality room. Dates for the event are June 24-25 and we think you will find it is extremely cost effective when compared to similar events ($250).

Please check out the tourney info below and feel free to contact me through email or cell (704-796-3042) if you have any questions or want to reserve your spot. Entry is limited to 16 teams.

Public
Admission
: All Games are open to the public. Admission is $5.00 for a day pass.

Tournament
Format
: There will be 16 teams total participating in
the tournament.
Teams will be divided into four, 4-Team [/B]pools. Effort will be made to keep any [/B]teams from the same conference in separate pools.[/B] Each team will play all 3 teams in [/B]their pool on the first day, June 24. [/B]

*New Feature*
- Coaches Choice Game The
first game on June 25 will be a "Coaches Choice Game."
This game will not count towards the pool standings, but will
allow coaches to choose a team they would like to play that is outside of their pool. Once the event field is set with all 16 teams, we will send out instructions as to how we will let you choosewho you would like to play. If coaches have no preference, we will make the best determination to provide a quality/interesting matchup. We hope this is a feature that coaches will enjoy, allowing you to match your team against someone with a particular style of play you want to go against, challenge someone from a higher classification, etc.

Once pool play is complete at the end of the day on June 24, teams will be seeded into 3 brackets: Gold (top 2 from each pool-8 total), Silver (3rd place from each pool), Bronze (4th place from each pool). We will then award 3 Tournament Championships to the winner of each bracket.

Tiebreakers for seeding will be: Heads up Competition. If more than 2 teams are tied, point differential will be used (max
15pts). If necessary, final tiebreaker for seeding will be a coin flip.

Each team is guaranteed 3 pool play games on June 24, and 3 games on June 25 (1 Coaches Choice Game and 2 Tournament Games). It is possible to play 4 games on June 25, should your team advance to the finals of the Gold Bracket.

Games will begin each day at 12 Noon. The final game of June 24 will tip-off at 7pm. The final (championship) game of June 25 will tip-off at 8pm.
