State Title games on TV

They have the 2 a game on 48 starting at 12. But game starts at 11. Doesnt make sense

I just check my direct tv and on MY40 the Vance v wake forest game and Catholic game and Murphy is being show. That’s pretty cool but not having the Shelby game made me go and order the games from the NFHS network.

Here in the East I can't find Tarboro's game listed for TV. I'll be at the game but I'd love to record it.

Wonder if Dish Network and WMYA 40 have the same setup....I hope so!

They were probably in a tough spot because the Shelby and Murphy games overlap. Bad luck for them that the two teams with probably the most interest for their viewing area were at the same time.

I think if you’re in Duplin County or In New Bern viewing area you will be watching Weddington tonight. Excited to see the all-star sophomore Shipley, hear there is a strong chance he will be playing for the Wolfpack one day!

So what channel shows reidsville at 11 am direct TV.

You can't get the game on DirectTV until 12.

Game is broadcast on 48.2 over the air TV from 11 to 12 and then available on DirectTv. Go get a rabbit ears antenna if you don't already have one.

Don't ask why. If you call channel 48 I doubt you will get a satisfactory answer.

I am lucky I suppose. I have Raleigh locals. I am recording six games if they go off without a hitch on channels 22 and 28. I will only miss the two 3A games.

That is what I'm getting with my outside antenna from Vanceboro. Grit channel 17-3 is my favorite!

I have Dish Network and the Tarboro game is going to be on channel 8 (which is Fox) tomorrow night at 6 o'clock. But I can't find the Northeastern vs Reidsville game. I'm in Teachey.

If you could get over the air signals from 28-1 or 22-1 you could get it. I'm stopped eating breakfast but I posted the channels earlier.

Help me with some tech issues.

Ordered the games, put it on the PS4 on my TV but it keeps freezing and buffering. On computer, it's perfect. The modem and PS4 are sitting beside each other. Touching.

Any advice to get it on TV properly?

Just pay $10 and watch all of them on NFHS....

I paid my $10. Ticket was good for a month so I got all the championship games.

I watched NE/Reidsville (2A) first. Wanted to check out the Jacksonville/CC which was on at the same time but the Eagles/Rams game was to exciting to stop, Great Game. Only things I didnt like about the broadcasts:

They went dead with 3 minutes left in the NE/Reidsville game ....that was the best part so I missed it. Maybe they were trying to imitate the HEIDI NFL games of years ago, I was watching that one also ...LOL
Also the announcers were not that good ........Every HS game I listened to this year had better announcers. Very seldom gave down and yards to go. Also very little of who ran the ball on running plays. Also the graphic on the screen was almost always a couple plays behind on the down/yardage info.
Camera work was terrible first game. Most all the time they did close ups of players (mostly helmets) and until the next play you never knew where on the field they were.

I then watched the Shelby/ND game. Same field, same announcers, same crappy commentary. Although the camara work was a little better.
Broadcast went dead about halfway thru the 4th qtr, but game was pretty well in hand by Shelby by then.

Then at 6 I watched the Tarboro game, again same announcers, same field. This game was the best of the broadcasts. Stayed on the entire game. Announcers got a lot better, by the third time in one day as they should have. Camera work was great, 100 times better than the first two.

The NFHS site says there is NO RECCURING CHARGE for Playoff games, but when you go pay it is not an option, just the monthly ticket which keeps being charged every month.
I had to google how to cancel the monthly charge. The google instructions worked great, as there is nothing on the NFHS that tells you how to do it. So if you bought the monthly ticket be sure and cancel it before the month is up, unless you want to watch BB till the end of winter, and maybe BB in the spring.

All in all pretty good. Video was sharp and clear. If they had Billy and Melvin from SWO as announcers it would have been great. I would do it again.

I attempted to record the game while I was in Raleigh. I set it up on the 2 channels hoping it would be there although the guide for the time slots showed Real Life 101, Awesome Adventures, Paid Programming and The James Brown Show.

OK, I attempted to view the replay after watching the Appalachian game last night and it was a hassle when I had to go back to the recorded list after every 30-minute show ended. But, OK, I can manage that. But my recorded time ran out right after Reidsville touchdown that tied it 28-28. I thought I had added some time to my recording list, but I guess not. So when "The James Brown Show" ended, so did my recording of the game.

One thing I noticed was the long delay for the TV timeouts at the game. But watching the replay, many times they didn't go to commercial. You could see the TV signal man out on the field.

As far as the game being replayed -- probably not going to happen. That was the case when Time Warner Cable had the broadcasts and you could watch On Demand. With Sinclair now having the contract, I don't think so.
