I used to know how many classifications each state had and how many football playing schools. Just not as involved anymore.

I am very happy not to have eight champions in NC! Would be ok with five or six but would want to be five rounds maximum. (That is right at 40% of the teams qualifying with five classes and just under 50% with six classes.)

I would be ok with five rounds now but the qualifying standards would need a huge overhaul! Five rounds with four classes would be right at 32% of the schools making the playoffs. That is good number in my opinion if the requirements to get in are very set and make sense.
