St Pauls @ Currituck County

Depends on which Currituck teams shows up. The one that beat Hertford County (45-27) and almost beat Northeastern (14-7) or the one that lost badly to Holmes (55-7). They have an excellent QB who can make some plays if you aren’t dialed in every play. It’s gonna take you forever to get there. When you pass by Edenton you still have an hour to go and dress warmly. The wind comes off the water and makes it feel 10-15 degrees colder.

Yes, that school is probably less than 10 miles from the ocean (as the crow flies) and it can be chilly....that sea breeze feels great in September when it's hot & humid outside but feels like it's going to cut through you this time of year; once saw a 70+ yard punt there in a JV game 20+ years ago when a guy had the 20+ mph wind at his back on a hot day with the ball carrying and also got a huge favorable bounce

Based on said statement I suspect St Pauls on top in the first half. CC will figure it out in 2nd half. The question is who wins

Like to go but I will be home warm

The Currituck qb is fun to watch. St Pauls will have their hands full with him. This should be a good game. I loved the pregame when they played NE. It was pretty good for high school. The players came out running thru red smoke. It covered the entire stadium lol. Every time they score they fire a cannon off. I loved it.Like Aces said it's probably going to be cold because the school is located just off the sound and it gets windy. There's some really good places to eat right by the school. Currituck BBQ, Frog Island Seafood, and Coinjock Marina are all very close and the food is phenomenal

I would rather play on coast than go across those mountains of NC. It gets bone cold at Murphy,Robinsville,Ash Co. In Mountains. Teens at night. Our guys not used to that kind of weather.
