Split conference seeding

Looks like this year they are giving the #3 overall team when all 3 teams are in the same division a #3 seed (used to be a wildcard). Looks like also if you tie for a certain rank in the overall conference you get the highest possible seed. Examples - Lake Norman and Statesville both getting 3's. Watauga getting a 2 in 4A bracket.

Thanks Brian, so in the case of Pisgah and West Henderson, how is that being seeded....West finishes 2nd and gets the #1 3A and Pisgah technically finishes 3rd in conference and shares a 1?

Pisgah got a 2 because they tied for 2nd. In the past they would have been a wildcard.

A joke.....I could see sharing the seed if the losses came from different places.....but they lost to the team they are sharing with, so they finished THIRD. Not Pisgah's fault, hell take advantage of the rule. The NCHSAA has created this mess.....Just like NASCAR they have to keep changing the rules every year to fix their own F up's
