Tough year for the Wolves. SP did some good things and made a lot of mistakes. Not yet a well oiled machine. Ray Grier is really standing out. Alexander with 17 carries 147 yds and 5 TD's. Hale came in at QB and ran 2 plays. 39 yd td run and 22 yd td run. 3, 5, and 7 played hard for Wolves. Good luck rest of season.

Deep sigh... Not shaping up to be our greatest year. Hoping we learn some lessons and get better.

Oh btw, Shelby won. Those knuckleheads can't believe it and are now beating their chests like they knew it all along. They must, and will, go down!!

Love the series with Ltown and most have been very competitive games. Expect them to improve as the year goes on. They are trying to teach a good athlete to play QB and playing most key players on both sides of the ball. Number 3 ran hard and made some great escapes. No matter the score, they never quit and kept competing. That is a sign of good coaching.

Few last words. Take it for what it is worth, but Ray Grier may be the best athlete to come through SP since ??? Size and speed to burn. Not to start a controversy, but Hale is going to have to get some snaps this year. Great speed and strength running the option. SP played a bunch of kids last night. Giving the bench some time makes them stronger from year to year.

Better than Koren Robinson?

Haven't seen the Grier kid yet. Is he playing just offense? Hoping Lincolnton can get some things figured out.

IMO, Soph Grier is ahead of where Koren was as a Sophomore. Where will he end up? Time will tell. Defense is going to be very good. Muse was a monster inside last year and he is missed. Robinson should be having a significant impact but have not seen it yet. Soph CB's are still getting their sea legs, but very talented. Expect SP D to do what they did last year and become better as the year moves on.

Just noticed that most of Lincolnton's key players appear to be Seniors. What is going on with the Wolves?
