I have heard from good source that SP is pleading their case to the NCHSAA to get back in 3A.
I agree that you guys are loaded next year. Returning 7 O starters and 5 D starters from the championship game. Shelby will be a load next year especially if Bess takes another step forward. SP has big losses in Dowdy and Hale on offense, but returns the balance of the O line, Jones and Leeper in backfield, and number 5. JV QB will move up and he is going to be very good. Defense loses some good ones and returns some good ones. Need some freaks to show up for the D line to create havoc for guys like Bess.
