Had this one as a close game but geez. Went and watched South View face Jack Britt and there defense looked very good. Might have a problem in the SAC-8 this year with Lumberton.

Lumbertons' defense QB is the real deal. They will ruin many teams seasons by the end of the year.

I watched this one because I wouldn't have enough time to make the Scotland game. I feel like both offenses were clicking on all clyinders. According to the paper Lumberton outgained South View with over 500+yds of total offense. Lumberton o line played well and the run and passing game were there. After the defense finally showed up it was a bit to late, but the comeback was a huge step forward. If they play like they did that 2nd half watch out. Grice runs that thing like a man and Brewington is a tough cookie as well. South Views offense will be tough for most opponents they play. Hope Simmons gets well soon. As of now its 71st/Richmond at the top and then pick your poison on each night to see who shows up if the Scots don't get healthy. Should be interesting in the Sac 8 for those playoff positions.

Sums it up pretty good. Grice is a beast.I would pick them 3rd right now in the Sac 8, b/c of him and the plays he makes with his legs and then throwing it with accuracy downfield. They are a solid team.

I'm not questioning the potential to be 3rd but they have to get consistent. I mean they did choke against Westover whom they were up 2 scores, and they did give up 53 to SV even though 3 scores were really not on them. But if they start firing on all cylinders they could be that sleeper that many felt like was going to be Britt. I felt like coming into this season it was Richmond 71st Scotland with a coin flip of 4-8 but now I only see 2 top dawgs with the depth issues in Scotland. I mean Pinecrest isn't as explosive offensively as in previous years but defense is okay. Britt is struggling but have great Lbs. Swett is not the team they were a year ago but still have a great wr but they haven't played but one good team. Hoke can barely score and still struggling no matter who's coaching. I just think this could be the year we see a shift in the dynamics of the conference.

I would say the game between Lumberton and Britt will determine 3rd place just from seeing both teams early this year. Britts' front 7 is really tough and will keep them in games until the offense shows up, If they show up. You're right about the consistency at Lumberton. If they find it they could have a solid year from here on out.
