Probably not much to say about this one. I don't expect SD to score of the WM Defense. South Stanly couldn't. They only scored on a bad snap to the punter. Should be a good time to practice some passing or maybe some new plays and give the 2nd String and JV's some playing time. But, I'm sure Coach Eddins will be as classy as possible as he picks up Win # 53.

It's a game to recognize the outgoing Senior Class...... These guys have put in quite a few practices when they were freshman and sophomores that most of the conference didn't have to endure. Very tight group that will be sorely missed. I don't think that Denton/SD has ever beaten WM on the field. Friday night will be no different. This class of Sr.s will be one that will be remembered on the field and off the field for their achievements on and off the field. Lot's of good parents, involvement and focusing on making sure their kids are good character, students and athletes. Says a lot about the program that Coach Eddins has resurrected.
With my son and a nephew being part of the Senior Class, I know first hand how hard these guys have worked since their 8th grade summer. Coach Eddins has made these guys better humans and he puts that above Football! I don't know what I will fill my Friday nights with when the season is over!
I agree, this has been a good group and we have good groups behind them. This is a large senior class and in the past that has helped come playoff time. Hopefully it will this year too. I say we should run a bunch of crazy plays to give EM something to think about....lol. But Coach will do whatever with class I'm sure. You can still go to the games after those kids graduate Buzzard. A lot of us do.
I'm sure I still will. I know several of the young guys. There is a good group of kids coming up next year. They have good size. West Middle would have won several more game if it wasn't for injuries.

Dubman knows his history and is quite possibly one of the most knowledgeable posters on this or any other site when it comes to high school football.
You might have to kick field goals to keep the clock from burning out too early. If this game starts at 7, you will be home at 8:15. If WM wants, they can score 40 in the first quarter. After that, let the clock run.
Is it too early to start an WM@EM thread? Atleast we could get some good conversation.
It is a tough task for coach Eddins to manage and balance a good effort which WM needs this late in the season with compassion for the opponent. If SS can score 61 on SD, imagine what WM could do if they weren't holding back the reigns. I am confident coach Eddins will find a way to do all he can...but this one is an extreme mismatch.
As always, well-said nipit. We really need to be sharp this week to get ready for that final game, but the sharper we are, the less our starters will likely play. The conference championship is usually decided before the last week, so that last week has become increasingly more important this year than it has in year's past.
Hopefully both teams will play at a high level which will in turn better prepare them for the road ahead. I'm sure WM will be the heavy favorite but they need a tuff game from EM. EM needs to play a good game to gain confidence going into playoffs. A good tight game would benefit both teams. Not sure that will be the case but let's hope so.
I definitely hope for a good game against EM. We've just not had much in the way of tune-ups for it and that is definitely a concern.
I'm thinking the Offensive side should be pretty similar but looking at stats for the season EM has allowed almost 100 more points than WM. So, Defense will be key. I'm hearing that EM has a MLB comparible to WM's Williams. EM has some size on the O-Line but WM has more experience. We all know EM will play their best game of the season against WM, they always do. Good Luck to both teams!

Inner County, YVC Championship. East Montgomery having to come from behind against NM. I do not feel like EM can afford to get 10 points behind against West. There should be Some good hitting
