Well it's finally here, big game for both teams. I think the Stallions come out on top.

Haven't got the chance to see Whiteville play this season but from what I hear they aren't the same team they've been the past two or three seasons. The stallions are on a roll and come out on top big 30-14.
Never know with this game. Hope South comes out and plays hard like they have been. South by 3 TDs.
Both teams have been on a tear as of late, but my gut instinct is going with South Col in this one. The "other" horseshoes win 28-14.
Just a side note to add off topic. I don't know where the refs come from that have the microphone set up at two of SCs games but that was really awesome to see and hear. Unless SC has the equipment and I don't know about it, and I dont think they do. How awesome is it to sit in a HS bleacher and hear all of the refs calls!! Good or bad calls it really was cool. Does anyone know who provides that for the refs? It would be cool to have at the Whiteville game for sure!
Wing t, the only other game I have seen that at was last year at Fairmont in the playoffs. I agree it was really cool to have it and hope they have it from here out as well.
South Columbus is one year from being a Strong team aswell. This stallion team is good but we are young, there is a slew of sophomores starting on offense and defense and being difference makers! The future really looks bright for the black and silver under coach dove and company! Really starting to appreciate what this coach brings to the table, so glad we were able to pick him up.
I gotcha. Can't wait till Friday night. Hoping for a big crowd. Should be a good game!!

Could very well get ugly if WHS doesn't hang on to the ball and keep Leggett and company off the field. If they do hang on to it, I look for a very even matchup. Would feel better about it though if we had played a little tougher competition the last two games. Good luck to both teams, do hope at least it is competitive!!
Does anyone know the score from last nights JV game? I know they played a couple of weeks ago and was pretty evenly matched.

28-13 final. #40 Seth Buffkin played a heck of a game on both sides of the ball. Liked seeing the Stallions show a passing attack. Now onto Fairmont
Whoever was calling the plays for whiteville in the first half doesn't need to be anywhere near coaching a football team .... Stallions didn't come out to play after halftime ... slow 3rd quarter... Stallions turned it back on in the 4th....

#40 Buffkin was the difference in this game, Leggett had a couple of good runs, but for the most part was contained. Both teams had some missed opportunities with the passing game. I think the Packs defense had something to do with the slow Stallion third Q. Finally put a little beef on the D-line. A couple of costly penalties negated some big plays, but the best team won. Congrats to South, and good luck next week against Fairmont.
first half the Stallion defensive line looked like grown men playing little boys compared to the whiteville oline... not by size and stature... but by physicality ....they was man handling them every snap ... I thought the game was gonna get out of hand quick .... whiteville hung around with a fluke pass after the punter missed handled a snap.... good game tho.... whiteville never quit I tip my hat to that....

I don't know that I would call that a fluke pass, bad coverage as was the TD Pass South had. South will need to work on pass coverage this week as Fairmont runs great routes and don't drop many. Also need to cover the blocking back as he is the safety valve when Caulder scrambles.
Play calling was terrible in this game. But what do I know. Fairmont has a great passing game it will take a great effort from SC defense to cover rec. Also big RB does a lot in this off. But SC can cover it will be a very good game. Russell done a good job at South this year,good choice in this coach only get better. I'll pick SC to win close game at home Friday.
