Many new/newer schools when built have been built with smaller stadiums. The new schools in Charlotte and Raleigh are the major culprits. If we have a football season and limited seating how will that affect money made during a game. Example older stadiums seem to be bigger than the new ones. So the cutting corners will it hurt the schools that are newer with revenue

Look at stadiums like East Burke that has that big hill in one of the end zone. They could easily sit people in places like that.

I do agree that the seating in small stadiums may be limited.

It will depend. If it’s a percentage of capacity, that’s one thing. If it’s a set number, that’s another. Right now, it’s maximum of 25, no matter the size of the stadium. That obviously would have to change for football to be feasible.

yea but 25% in a 8,000 seat stadium is a lot more than 25% at a 2000 seat stadium

I’m not sure where the break even point is for most high school teams. Is it 25% or 50% of capacity? Is it 500 or 1500 fans? Obviously, it varies by program. But certainly, decisions need to be made in the next month.
