The only question I have for the Murphy fans is why was one player wearing a soft shell padding over his helmet? Kinda looked like Dark Helmet from Spaceballs out there.

He suffered a concussion earlier this season. I think he is now one concussion away from not getting to play any more...ever.

I figured it was something to that effect. Hate that for a kid especially seeing him on kickoff where we often see the hardest hits. Concussion unfortunately in the past have been like a sprained ankle. As long as you can play then you’ll play. We’ve already seen the ban of “bull in the ring”, “oklahoma” and getting your bell rung was seen as a rite of passage more than a safety concern. Good luck to that kid and there’s no shame in worrying about your own safety.

I never go to rosman. To far.
I did go to smc bball tourney in rosman about 6 yrs ago.

Me and 1 of my buddies was just talkin about that concussion deal tha other night!! How are we seein more and more concussions with all tha new concussion savvy technology sunk into tha new and improved helmet's??? This is everywhere and not just kid in Murphy!! We got 1 up here that would be a big help to our JVS but he's on tha last leg with his concussion count!!
