Nightmare season for Murphy. Two of the four wins over a high school with less than 50 students, the other two over one school with less than 200 and the last place team in the conference, who they ended up losing to by 22 points when they played them the second time. 'Dogs will be lucky to field a varsity boys team next year if changes aren't made, was bad enough with kids not coming out the last few years, this year especially. well it will be that much worse next year unless something is done.

Though some in power positions couldn't care less as long as the football program remains strong, they better take this situation seriously because there are JV parents whose kids play football too that are considering their options if Payne is still in charge next season. These aren't all average players either, one or two are important players for the future of football.
