Congrats to the (little 1A) Black Knights for winning the SMC this season! Now on to the Playoffs...
Congratulations Black Knights. Wow what a physical game. Really enjoyed watching those big men in the trenches, what a war it was.
oUR QB had a huge night. Over200 yards on the ground and the air. Two TDS, one running and one passing. Recovered a fumble and had a INT on Defense. He also put a helk of a hit on a swain player.
I didn't think we would be able to pass one swain without #81 in the line up to help but we did. #1 catch a lot of passes and had about 100 yds.
This game could of been a lot worse. Rville was inside the redzone 4 times and only scored once but then we started putting it together. Rville also had 2 or 3 turnovers and a lot of Flags. I would say we had 10 for 100 but that's just my guess.
Swain played hard and will be a tough game for anybody next season.

Congrats Knights!!! Have to give it up to "River Boat" Walsh. I believe he converted all but one 4th down. The best of the night was an amazing 4th and 20 score to really put some momentum going into halftime. Congrats boys get rested and healthy to make a push for state!
Congrats BK, another championship!! What are your predictions for the state title run? We have had a pretty good season, 6-4 with a few tough losses, won the quarterfinals on the road this past weekend and head to High Point for the semi's. Wish yall and the other SMC teams good luck!!!

Again I gotta remind you knight fans about the 1st playoff game a couple of years ago ... we were favored to win that night also. Granted the refs were as crooked as a dog's hind leg, and hopefully we won't see that same bunch again, but we were way off that night, and Jackets were playing the game of the year - throw in a boat load of made up penalties at crucial times and you've got yourselves a neck-n-neck ballgame folks.
Blah, blah, blah. Refs stole it, QB had a sore toe, too many injuries, on and on and on......Same ole story!! Sometimes you just get your a$$ handed to you!! You got to be good enough to overcome some bad calling.
I wonder if Robbinsville will be focused Friday Night? After beating Hayesville so easy in the regular season.

Well, we would be finished so i might just take a stroll up that ways afterall. I will keep an eye on it. Hopefully we have 2 upsets in us. would be a great way to go out with a still pretty new program.
