East Burke @ Burns: Knew Burns would be competitive coming into the season, but would have never imagined them being undefeated at this point of the season. 30-10 Bulldogs

Kings Mountain @ Shelby: I have this gut feeling that the "worst good" offense that Shelby has had in awhile will show up and show out Friday. As for the Mountaineers, it will take a couple of games for the their sophomore quarterback to get his feet underneath him, but whenever he does, look out. He's a great athlete and will become special as a dual threat quarterback as he progresses. He, along with McClain and Mack, will become one heck of a backfield. The Lions win The Battle of Buffalo Creek. 41-14 Lions

Chase @ Draughn: Chase has some good athletes. 28-14 Trojans

Crest over RS - Crest will control this game with their defense once again. Offensively, they'll take another step forward into figuring it out. Crest by a few scores.

Burns over EB - This could very easily be a hangover game for us. But I think Devine will have us ready. Should win easily after we start a little sluggish.

Shelby over KM - I think defensively, KM can get a lot of pressure in the backfield against Shelby. But the offense will struggle and make the defense play a lot longer than they should. It'll be close early, then a route in the second half.

Chase over Draughn - Chase wins by 2+ scores

Crest needs to speed the offense thing up if the power ponies want to make a run in the playoffs. RS is another cupcake team that should allow that. Crest wins 28-10

KM always has so much potential...but I'm starting to believe these boys are cursed...I had high hopes for them but once again things didn't workout. Oh well life's not fair. The kitty cats win easily 42-10

Burns sputtered a little, and you can throw excuses out all day but the truth is they took what was given to them and won and that's how the game is played. The puppies will continue to roll until they meet the kitty cats.

EB @ Burns, We sleep walk thru the first quarter and wake up after that and pull away. 35-10

KM @ Shelby, Im gonna say KM keeps it close at first but having 2 back to back county games takes a mental toll as well as new QB..shelby rolls in the 2nd half 45-14

Chase @ Draughn..Chase has a few athletes and they take over and win 28-7
