Goober gonna like this poll. NE has number 1 SS. Sitting pretty in this poll at 4 and swo at 51. Funny thing is that's about how good swo is this year. Hurts me to even type that lol
Ha! Shelby and Burns SS is laughable. Guess he doesn't realize how good RS and Chase are.
Chase and RS probably started out with a low ranking and without non conference games and a short season the SOS will be skewed.
I’m not sure what’s going on but once again I agree with you. NE is coming together at the right time and I like their chances to be playing in another eastern championship. I’m hoping for a chance to play at WRH or Clinton. Hopefully Northeastern will play all games on the road. SWO future is bright UNC91, I can’t say the same for Northeastern. We will lose a lot of our offense including our qb and running backs. I know many of the fans around here are worried that we’re going to fall off. Hopefully Coach Moore has another 5* rb transferring in 😂😂😂😂😂. Damn I got played. 🤦♀️.
Swo doesn't have the athletes anymore. We are young, but they are average at best. Which in my eyes is unacceptable at swo. But the boosters and old men love some coach Dempsey for some odd reason. I would have canned him after losing to NE like that. But that's just me
We shall see if NE will make a run, you been saying it for three years now, usually you're correct on that ha. NE will fall off just like swo unless moore can recruit at a high level. Swo used to have the best athletes in onslow county on the team. Now its laughable.
Honestly thought you were sure he was coming. Transfers always a hard thing to read, until they touch the field. Who the hell would wanna live up that north in the state anyways haha
COVID has affected alot of things. I heard today in college basketball there are over 600 in the transfer portals and thats just the start. The season isn't over yet.
There will more movement in college sports rosters than there was in the post WWII era, when there was nothing to hear about someone playing for one school one year and another the next.
Northeastern will be a dangerous opponent in the playoffs. SWO’s history gives them respect too regardless of their ups and downs this year, so no one will be excited to see them opposite the bracket come playoff time either. I’m just hoping whoever wants a shot at the title has to come through Clinton. That atleast means we are where we want to be come time.
Everyone got a opinion that’s why the game is played. Sw is very young, the kids been winning on every level from flag to high school. It’s going to be interesting how these next couple years play out. If they don’t win it won’t be lack of talent.
04, I don’t understand the 2 game conference tournament, who advances from and how? Whats the purpose of 2 games?
Honestly 34 can explain it better than me but our conference was broken up into two pods. Notice Clinton doesn’t play WRH or JK in the early part of conference. So IF Clinton wins against ED on Friday they will be the #1 seed in their pod. With likely Midway IF they win as the #2.
So next week Clinton would play the #2 team of the other pod. While their #1 seed played our #2 (Midway) IF they win Friday.
then the winner of those two games would play for the “championship” or conference winner gets #1 seed from East Central conference and the loser gets the 2nd bid to playoffs.

I may be wrong but I don't think there is a championship game. Winner of two pods go to playoffs.
You got it. Only thing i was confused about is who plays who i got it wrong so the #1 plays the #2 in the opposite pod i thought we would have to play Midway again in that first game. But now i see i got it mixed up
My only question is how will tie breakers be determined cause if ED beats us Friday and Midway wins we all have a 2-1 conference record on that side of the division.
