So my rankings/power ratings/predictions/consecutive streaks are back for another season. Unfortunately, at the moment my web hosting site is not letting me upload anything.

I put the rankings/power ratings up Wed. night so those are on the site along with the streaks. Deana should have my picks up on her site.

I will let you know when I can start posting again.

Brian

Relieved to see that the largest gap in rating wasn’t 1 to 2….Spring Creek saved us at the bottom. It ain’t over!😂

3rd largest gap is below Pasquotank.

They’d stomp a mud hole in North Johnston arse! Chopper😂

We only have 7 seniors, 58 underclassmen. Dont lose any sleep over us. Might want to pay attention to Camden County who is on the rise and scored a good win Friday. Brian Simmons had them losing bad.
How do you think y'all will do against Hertford county I've heard from a lot of people on here that they are a dark horse in the East this year?

West Rowan and Kings Mtn are expected losses in reality.

I dont know who Princeton played.
Princeton played Smithfield Selma. Surprised they lost to them. I'm not too surprised that Shelby lost to Kings mountain I was kind of thinking if they were going to lose a game this year it would be to them. Shelby will be fine lol

Hertford County is a team posters on here should keep an eye on. I’m looking forward to our game against them. NE next 6 games are on the road. I like how Northeastern football is using social media platforms Facebook and Instagram this year to put a spotlight on our program. Whoever’s doing it is really doing a good job. They are posting videos of everything from players interviews to media events with the coaches discussing this years and last seasons teams. For a high school football fan like myself you got to love it. Maiden High School also does similar things and that’s what peaked my interest in their storied program and made me want to take a few days off last with my wife and go to that area and take in a game.

I've heard a lot about Hertford on here from people this off season. Tarboro's doing something similar with Northeastern. We started showing interviews with current players and coaches and believe it or not we actually have a documentary in the works supposed to be released next year I believe. I love seeing these high schools give these kids a chance to get interviewed and get their name out there though.

I’ll concede that those losses were expected…maybe.😂

I’m still shocked over the golden ones. I know!…I know!…Kings Mtn. is real good.

The margin of victory over Salisbury was surprising though….I truly thought that the Hornets would win that game.

Princeton beat Selma last year 42-20. I’d say the tigers have fallen off a bit. We’ll see.

Another shocker for me was the margin of victory that Monroe had over Marvin Ridge. Marvin Ridge was ranked top ten overall by Max Preps. Gotta feeling the Red Hawks have shown that they are the early favorite. That was a super impressive win! Marvin Ridge smoked them last year…have mercy!…Monroe must be VERY good!

*edit* I guess we'll see who's who in week 3 or 4. So hard to tell now.
