Silver Lining? Raider 14U Team

Richmind County's 14U team is participating in the 14U National Championships in Orlando, and have gone 2-0 in pool play already. They defeated the Apopka 14U team, 13-7. If you're a true high school junkie, Apopka will make your ears perk up. All of the teams are running the same system as the high school, so maybe the future won't be as doom-and-gloom as many believe. Proud of our young men!

This team didn't even win the State title in NC and the NC league has less than 25 teams. There's a lot more 4A teams than that, so maybe all is still gloom and doom. That is UNLESS the lackluster system is changed.

They only had to finish in the top 2 to qualify.

Thank you Scot roll. Dang shame someone from outside the county gives these kids more credit than local folk. These are 14u kids. Don't put them down.

So you're saying the Coach of the 14U team is better at this system than Castellano, Burdeau, & yourself, plus also better than the coaches at Rockingham & Hamlet. Well, the Head Coach of the 14U team is the adopted son of Coach Hoggard. So, he does have some of that meat you always talking about.
