I think Seventy First plays their first clean game and wins by 1-2 scores. I don't think pinecrest can match up athlete wise but coaching and discipline will keep it close.

I truly thought we had a great chance but in our first 2 possessions or so, we did not surpass the 50yrd line. Hoggards defense was on it. Hoggards short passing game killed us. We have a great set of athletes. We have a great staff, but just not sure what happened. A lot of frustration but we are past that and on to Richmond

I like 71st here. I don't think pc has the defense to shut them down enough to win. I see this low scoring, and if pinecrest can force some turnovers they can win. If 71st takes care of the ball, I think they can score enough to top pc as I think pc will struggle with the first decent defense they have seen this year.

I've heard pinecrest is infamous for twisting ankle in the pile up. The paper said that starting center and tailback had dislocated left ankles. Coincidence or dirty play? I'm gonna check out the game replay today.
