I heard some bad news today, my neighbors from the East please tell me the news I heard is not true. I pray that the news I heard was just hear say; if it is true I do not see your team winning the title this year.

Well that is not good i have no knowledge other than I saw a player walk off friday in a very odd manner. Will wait and see. Tough game for sure.

He should have never been in the game up by that many points, he was being used as a decoy to block, SMDH.....
UGH - it was what I thought i saw he took himself out and he never does so maybe its not that.

Here we go, the blame game.... I was wondering how long it would take. If 71st came back and won, it would have been “why did he take Zamir out?” He was lead blocking like he always does for Warren as he has done all year. It was a 4 possession game early in the third. That isn’t a huge lead considering the big play ability of 71st. The week before, Richmond erased a 3 possessions lead really quick.

How about we quit trying to Monday morning quarterback and blame someone.

I was told he came back into the game after he took himself out.... idk how true any of it is just what someone told me. I wasn’t there

If true more I'm concerned about his future. State Championship is great for the other kids and program but man this kid is special talent. Hopefully it's just a minor obstacle for him. There is no next man up for a player like this but life goes on and there will be a game friday and I will be rooting for the SCOTS!

@Scot4life is it true that Zamir is out with a torn ACL? Has this been confirmed.

Deana anything on your end?

Unfortunatley it is true

Wow. That’s sad. Absolutely the best RB in HS I have seen play live such a special talent. He will be fine. UGA medical staff will get him back on the field after a redshirt year. It might be a blessing in disguise give him a chance to adjust academically and socially to College life and ready his redshirt Frosh year to tear up the SEC.

I think the Scots will be fine this will pull them together. McQueen is no slouch.

Well for the ones who never saw him play live you truly missed greatness. I said it earlier in the year that if you have a chance to see him play you should do so because kids like him don't just show up! Damn I hate it for him - I'm almost sick to my stomach. Football is such a unforgiving sport and it could have happened on play 1 or play 51. It's just a part of the game as well all know.

He is not a slouch but #34 is the definition of a game changer. I was watching smiley run today and he is a bruiser but he just lacks that extra gear (everyone does). Scots are not done but we can quit with all the favorites going forward. We are back with the rest of the pack. Hope SC can do something in his honor friday not sure what the NCHSAA allows but retiring of his jersey before the game is what the school should do and maybe they can get a decal or patch. The greatest HS player I have ever seen and I have seen some great ones.

Guys I made "smack" comments Saturday I would've never made had I known this... it all makes sense now about the long pass and wanting to run the clock and end the game. I really hate hearing this about any player, especially Zamir White. He is special and he will recover... good luck rest of this year. This will surely ignite a different kind of fire for your team and you can still win the title this year... sincerely, GO SCOTS.

No apologies needed no one in their right man would wish this on any athlete. We all get carried away. I will try to make it a bucket list to see him when he suits up for his first UGA game. I was going to see him play anyway but now it is a higher priority.

Well as JMACDE99 said it's part of the game, he will recover no doubt, they don't come along often in his class, gonna miss him not playing his last few games at Scotland, but UGA ain't that far. GO SCOTS

Now u really get 2 see how good ur TEAM is...depressing 2 hear.
Our team is pretty good anyone who doubts that would be making a mistake. Are we as good hell no but we ain't no sisters of the poor because 34 is gone we just don't have that homerun hitter!

When Coach Richt was there they let a former Scotland QB keep his full ride knowing he would never play again after a fourr wheeler accident.

This is heartbreaking to hear. I feel bad for Zamir and all the hard work he has put in. He will be back and better than ever. When an acl is replaced it’s actually stronger than the original. The key is in the rehabilitation and you know he will excel at that too. I will be rooting for him at Georgia!!!

Paul Johnson, Head Coach of Georgia Tech honored Jaylend Ratliff’s scholarship after that terrible ATV accident.

ummmm thatwas not georgia that was paul jhonson at ga tech nice try twister!

Well well well, reminds me of boobie miles. Can smiley lead you to a ship, or has the ship sailed. Typical Scotland team win conference ships but pull a david Copperfield playoff time. Y'all are the eastern H.S version of West Forsyth. You sound good in begining but fade away like a Micheal Jordan jump shot. So can Smiley aka Scottie Pippen lead you guys. I'll wait highly unlikely.
Hey how come youcome around on;ly when somethoing bad happens?

Love everything about the kid and very selfishly I am pissed because I was looking forward to Saturday in a couple weeks.

That said he is added to a long list of kids whose senior years ended by injury. Creek has two of them right now. I think its the saddest part of playing the game.

Zeus will fly again. For many kids the last ride is when they are carried off the field.

Its an unforgiving sport and it can happen on any play.

Where is my jersey?

Sorry to hear that hopefully UGA lets him keep his full ride!

LMAO! Damn Dude, you're evidently clueless on how it works. It will be decades before another back comes through the State like White. He could decommitt today and go to any school in the Nation at no cost. You can still have long careers after ACL surgery
