Don't know much about Rosman other than they don't mind throwing up the 3 ball. Avery is big, fast, and plays swarming defense. What's your thoughts and pick in this 1st round playoff game?

3's win regular season games but defense wins championships. The problem is that on any given day those 3's can find the net and make things difficult. I don't think this will be one of those times.
Avery will win handily 12-15 points because of their style of play, but the game wont seem that close.

The same can be said for Rosman but not a lot of size. They play wide open, in your face, and shoot the 3 well. Their coach subs every 2 minutes with the same style of play coming off the bench. I don't know Avery but Rosman could be dangerous on any givin night

these two might not play till sat.... pushing my prediction to Avery by 25 as Rosman probably hasn't seen the gym much this week

These teams that have adopted the guard nobody and run down and jack a 3 schemes continue to run into the same problem. When they run into very good defensive teams and Avery is one of them, the 3's are harder to get and much harder to make when guarded, and they still play the same way on the other end. On this site as well as another site, I had read people talking about the highly touted Rosman offense and how dangerous it was. Stranger things have happened but I never believed it for a moment. Until you have been guarded by a team like Avery, you really don't know what it is like.
Very sloppy 1st half, Rosman couldn't find any open shots. Rosman didn't bring many fans either. Avery's D controlled this game from the tip. Don't know why any team would try and run with Avery.
