SUMMER BASKETBALL LEAGUE
What: A four-week summer league for area high school varsity boys’ basketball teams
When: Tuesday and Thursday nights starting June 15th and ending July 8th
Where: All games will be played at Rocky Mount Prep School
How Many: Teams are guaranteed eight games
Cost: $200 per team to pay for officials and due by May 28th
League Rules:
1. Games will consist of two running twenty-minute halves.
2. The clock will stop only during the last two minutes of the second half.
3. There will be no individual player disqualifications for fouls.
4. Five-minute halftimes and warm-ups.
5. Two certified officials will referee all games.
Teams that competed last year included North Edgecombe, SW Edgecombe, Louisburg, Greenfield Academy and Rocky Mount Prep
