Ok. First of all Mitchell doesn’t want to be in the smc. No offense to a great conference. Secondly for all of the 80s and 90s we were in a 2a or 3a conference. This year the whc arguably was every bit as good as the smc. In years past we put players at Clemson ncsu and one on the Dallas cowboys. In the past four years we’ve played in the western regional finals ever year but this one. We played in a 1aa state title game. I think most teams in the state would die for those kinds of records. Hats off to the smc Murphy for a great year hope you win state

Mitchell is damn good team.....Robbinsville real good to but Murphy is so familair with them every year theres basiclly no secrets. And especially when you meet twice in a season....Murphy plays so well at The Hill usually and when they get rolliing its a sight to see.....Its all about matchups and I believe Mitchell and Rville would be a real good game.....it could be the western finals next year so got 12 months to hype it up lol

I don't think those pictures show anything definitive. They'll need a video with a clear picture of what happened to have any chance of getting it overturned.
The ACT said Gentry was expecting to hear back from the NCHSAA with a ruling sometime today.
Rules state he is still allowed to participate in practice.
