Absolutely sickening! "Hey, our season is over, let's move so I can play for a winner."
Charlotte Mecklenburg instituted a rule that a player can play a sport at only one school per sports season.
In SC about six years ago a player moved from Dorman to Byrnes district around first round of playoffs and was allowed to play for Byrnes which beat Dorman in the state championship three weeks later. Dorman won the regular season matchup but losing a starting linebacker hurt them. Hurt more when he started for the opponent. Complete and total BS. People complain about the NCHSAA and they have their faults but take a look at some of the other associations.
