Reynolds' Jhari Patterson

Hold him out.....conference is more important, need to win conference for best seeding in playoffs.

It’s only a matter of time before he gets moved to qb.
Four catches last week? He’s the best player by far on the team and he touched the ball 4 times? Yea that’s not gonna last long.

My son played with that injury back in ‘17, it’s one nagging, lingering injury. I’m sure that he’s in a walking boot, and getting daily therapy. If he plays, they will probably insert something inside his cleat to stabilize that toe and joint. Hope the young man has a speedy recovery.

Impressive offer list. I hope he plays but it is early and you want a talent like that to get well with a long season ahead.

Totally disagree, he caught 4 balls (and ran the ball 5 times) last week because we played an amazing team that double teamed him most of the game with high quality athletes, and he missed most of the second half with an injury. He will be WR/TB all year, we have very capable QB's. He is not a serious threat to throw the ball, so him being at QB would only assure that teams would stack the box against us.

He has been in a walking boot. I would think they sit him this week and next (vs Owen) and have him ready in 3 weeks for Erwin and the start of conference play.

The only reason I say that is because of what happened with Rico. Shane laws said “we wanted to get the ball to him as often as possible, at qb he touches the ball every play”. This is something I imagined he has at least thought about.
Rico was no threat to throw the ball.
Crezdon Butler was no threat to throw the ball for us when he played qb.
Both of those guys were electric because of their speed though. Teams stacked the box on both of them.
But then again, Shane laws is an amazing coach and I’m not, so I’m sure he knows what the hell hes doing.
I just see a lot of comparisons between the 2 situations

Rico was a threat to throw it, he passed for almost 1500 yards that year.
Throwing it sideways
Okay, you win.

LMAO!!! I predict this will be the most hilarious conversation on NCPreps this season.

rico and crezdon were really special talents. if it was up to me id sit him out n let him heal. should be a good game with shelby either way. .

Unfortunately a turf toe injury can take quite a while to heal. Hopefully this young man doesn’t miss too much time this season. If he hasn’t practiced than the probability of him playing much if at all are probably low.

As much as I despise ACR. The website is top notch. Alot of hardwork, I'm sure. Maybe we can have a good game this year which would only fuel the bitterness. Lol!

I know those guys work extremely hard to keep that site one of the best, if not THE best for WNC football info. I, for one, really appreciate it. And, they are good guys to boot.

I'm sure they are. I just have to give the green and yellow a hard time. The Owen pride is very deep in me. We were taught to hate you guys. I know there are good people over there. I have had many family members play there. In fact Micah Hembree is my cousin. 3rd cousin but cousin none the less. I'm getting old

There are many fine folks from both sides I know. I have some good friends that went to Owen. Played summer baseball with a few back in the day. If everybody cheered for the same team then life would be pretty boring.
