It’s only a matter of time before he gets moved to qb.
Four catches last week? He’s the best player by far on the team and he touched the ball 4 times? Yea that’s not gonna last long.
My son played with that injury back in ‘17, it’s one nagging, lingering injury. I’m sure that he’s in a walking boot, and getting daily therapy. If he plays, they will probably insert something inside his cleat to stabilize that toe and joint. Hope the young man has a speedy recovery.
The only reason I say that is because of what happened with Rico. Shane laws said “we wanted to get the ball to him as often as possible, at qb he touches the ball every play”. This is something I imagined he has at least thought about.Totally disagree, he caught 4 balls (and ran the ball 5 times) last week because we played an amazing team that double teamed him most of the game with high quality athletes, and he missed most of the second half with an injury. He will be WR/TB all year, we have very capable QB's. He is not a serious threat to throw the ball, so him being at QB would only assure that teams would stack the box against us.
Throwing it sidewaysRico was a threat to throw it, he passed for almost 1500 yards that year.

Rico was no threat to throw the ball.
Crezdon Butler was no threat to throw the ball for us when he played qb.
Both of those guys were electric because of their speed though. Teams stacked the box on both of them.
But then again, Shane laws is an amazing coach and I’m not, so I’m sure he knows what the hell hes doing.
I just see a lot of comparisons between the 2 situations

Throwing it sideways
Okay, you win.
We do what we can lolLMAO!!! I predict this will be the most hilarious conversation on NCPreps this season.
Shelby jvs 36-22 over Rockets
Here is the link to the JV stats from last night. Sorry we don't have a roster from either team. We did know a couple players names from last year, but we didn't know them all. Just wanted you to know we weren't trying to slight anyone.

I'm sure they are. I just have to give the green and yellow a hard time. The Owen pride is very deep in me. We were taught to hate you guys. I know there are good people over there. I have had many family members play there. In fact Micah Hembree is my cousin. 3rd cousin but cousin none the less. I'm getting old
