Reidsville vs Rockingham

Probably another Rams blow out as usual. When has Rockingham Co. ever won a game in this series?

All I know is that Rockingham looked small, slow and no athletes at the Jamboree Friday.

Baker is a good coach but he doesn't have a whole lot to work with. Cougars had lots and lots of seniors playing last year.

How did we look??

to answer fitguync...Reidsville and Rockingham County have played each other 41 times (starting fall of 1977)......RC has won only twice vs. Reidsville 1988 (21-7) and 1989 (17-16)..............lots of years were Reidsville blowouts of the Cougars....close game in 1985 when Reidsville won in OT (12-6)...............

That is serious domination. Rockingham Co. certainly cannot be considered a rival of the Rams with a lopsided record like that. I know Reidsville is a dominant program known around the state. But one would think Rockingham could make this at least a little more competitive.

haven't seen any of Reidsville's scrimmages and have not found out one thing from anyone on how they looked....no one in my circle of people I see regularly knew anything...and news paper coverage on the local level is a total joke.....usually there's a lot of buzz about the team but this year the beehives must have moved on....lol.......................

I'm not sure what to expect! lol. Idk if that's a bad thing or what

One thing to look for Friday night is how the big, young, inexperienced tackles for the Cougars fare against a veteran Rams front four and linebackers.

One of the few returning Cougars is RB Sedona who will try to test the Rams front four.

And Simmons has made the Rams a 22 point favorite.

Good luck to your rams this season, Mule! I hope to see you guys down the road soon.

It was 48-0 rams when Ieft. Rams looked good, still a wait and see when the competition goes up. But that won't happen until Reynolds

Really hoping Quad Lawson isn't hurt badly. I was very impressed with Kyle Pinnix. Didn't push the issue. Handled pressure in the pocket well.
Shout out to the Puffenburger kid from RC. Played both sides of the ball and left everything on the field, while playing out of position.
End of the day Reidsville has too many athletes.

got to shore up pass protection however, pinnix under too much pressure. the kids played very well though. one thing i was happy to see is rams have a good punt return game with pass and johnson. non-existent last year. competition will get better down the road but a whole lot to build on. like our chances
