Reidsville vs Jordan Matthews

Good way to get both players on the field at the same time.
J-M has been kinda hard to figure so far in conference play.

I can tell you JM has one of the best QB I seen. That kid can run and throw. If he was in a different school he would be a D1 recruit. Other than him a average football team.

The Rams Wilson (Jr), Lee (Jr), and Blackstock (Soph) are on the Tar Heels recruiting radar.

All three were in Chapel Hill on a recruiting trip Saturday for the Carolina win over Wake Forest.

Jm sometimes plays us tougher than what we are expecting. Curious to see how the offense looks now.

Reidsville, despite being week 9, is a team still trying to fit the right pieces in the puzzle due to injuries and other subtractions.

Hope to come up there and give you boys a good game tonight. Can't make the trip, hopeful that the Reidsville NCPreps contingent will be updating regularly on here tonight!

Sorry you can't make it up tonight. Might not be the best time to be catching the Rams. I will check with him but I am sure TGT will keep you updated on the game.

Heard it was Reidsville 14-7 at the half. QB and WR are twin brothers, great players and even better kids. Those two connected for the long touchdown pass that put JM on the board.

Final: Reidsville 27, Jordan-Matthews 20

I'm interested in hearing some first-hand accounts from those who were at the game tonight.

The Jets QB and WR brothers were pretty much a two man team but they were almost all it took to hand the Rams a rare conference loss.

Rams receivers had a tough night catching the ball. I counted 7 drops. Hope Chestnut is O.K.. Didn't look good when they took him in the EMS. Leg or ankle.

Total yards - Reidsville 422, J-M 355 …. some not-so-good tackling at times by Reidsville but maybe credit should go to the elusiveness and hard running of the J-M athletes.

A couple of good catches - especially one by Isaiah Hayes.
Total number of drops of the passed balls and total number of drops of the penalty flags need to drop.

I'll post the penalty numbers when I get them. A bunch of careless ones. Like I said before … concentration will help in both areas.

Jm had a good game plan.

I think we are going to young in some positions, I know we don't have many srs but I think the youth is really showing. Still a bright future for the team.

Byhs beat cummings, big one next week.

Did I read the score right??....Bartlett Yancey 16, Cummings 15?

If so, the standings behind Reidsville are a mess!

I like to keep up with the teams that beat Reidsville earlier this season:
Tonight -- Andrews continued its strong season by ripping E. Randolph 43-7, Northern Guilford clobbered Northeast Guilford 35-0 and Northwest Guilford got by Glenn 21-14. Those three teams are now 21-6.

17 a true receiver caught another one. We don't go to him enough.

#17 and #5 both need to get more touches on the passing end......the number of drops this year by our receivers is just staggering...........................

Here's the penalty count:
J-M 3 for 28 yards
Reidsville 12 for 74 yards

Stan EVERY game is a dog fight for us................in the past we have swept all but the strongest teams with ease.....this year that is officially over....I know we are very young but some kids need to grow up fast or it will one and done come playoffs.............................

I believe next friday will be another dog fight for us.
Don`t take B-Y lightly...they are fast and very talented. If they had a offensive coor. they would`ve beat us by 3tds. I still can`t believe what happened tonight...WTH is going on in B-Town?

You all have named every wr on the team. That's bc they all are inconsistent, they all have made plays and they all have dropped balls, don't need to go to any one specific more than the other they all just need to do what they are on the field for and that's simply catch the ball.

Yeah you're right....it's been pretty much a "team effort" as far as receivers dropping balls....all the WR.'s share equally in the blame...................

And the player that is supposed to have the best hands on the team never sees the playing field.:(

These pass receivers can get better with hard work … there are drills that they can use to improve.

.. But dropped passes are an issue all the way up to the highest level. Carolina Panther Ten Ginn has 13 receptions this year and 5 drops. Falcons' Leonard Hankerson has 22 receptions and league-leading 7 drops. Even Broncos' Demaryius Thomas, considered to be one of the NFL's best, has six drops to go with 48 receptions.

Check out the stats here: http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/drops/2015/

Go back to 2013 and note that former Ram Jerome Simpson had only one dropped pass to go with 48 receptions. He was targeted 100 times that season, which says a lot about the pitiful passers the Vikings had that season.
