I see a lot from both sides. 1. Fans, players, and everyone else stop resting on past laurels. Stop assuming you're gonna take walk to a title. 2. Talent is not lacking on this team. 3. I think you learn how to block, tackle, catch, punt, kick along with all aspects of the game in practice. I know Football is not what it was 20 years ago, because of concussions and such, but firm believer you to practice full blast at least one day a week. If you want to hit a 90 mph fast ball, you don't hit off the tee all the time. You have to face 90 in practice. 4. Kids have to have a serious gut check. Stop thinking the world is going to roll over because of what happened over 6 years ago. 5. Get in the weight room ( This in now and in the future. 6. Have your own identity. Don't let fans, parents or anyone else define you. Someone once told me Potential is the worst word in the English language. Usually it ends bad. They had great potential but... He had great potential but.... I have my opinion about QB, but I'll keep it to myself. Kids are going to be kids. . I keep hearing State Championship caliber this or that. We're no where near it this year. We are very very young. The one vocal leader is out for the year. It's gut check time for everyone...players, coaches, parents and fans. Stop with excuses. Stop with what we did years ago. Support the players. Players step up and develop your own swag and carry yourself with pride. Coaches look deep and ask yourself what I'm missing. Fans ask your self if I'm helping things are hurting them with words and actions.
