Interesting first week match up. The Vikings return A LOT of experience- 30some odd rising seniors and around 40 rising Juniors. This should be a really good test for both. Thoughts?

If you don't know anything about SI, you shouldn't post about them. They only have 56 kids on varsity, so your estimation of returning class sizes are greatly exxagerated. They have several sophomores that played last year, so they do have a lot of experience returning. They have looked good in the scrimmages before lightning shortened both of them. Don't know much about Reagan but they had a good season last year before losing early in the playoffs.
If SI has the athletes to cover Reagan they will be fine. Reagan likes to spread the field and if you have a weakness it will be exploited quickly. Against Carver they scored two touchdowns on the first three plays and Carver has speed.

Gotta give Miller props for upgrading their non-conference schedule. SI is gonna find out real quick if they are ready for a team like Reagan. I'll be pulling for the Vikings but that may not be enough.
i was told that from a parent of a player. Given the #s ive seen for them in the offseason, and knowing they returned a lot, there was no reason for me to dispute what they said. Maybe I misunderstood what they said. But either way, the point was a lot of you g guys had significant playing time last year, and with all the returning players, the vikings should be much improved this year.

This is an intriguing matchup indeed. Reagan will probably throw it a bunch (they do have a very decent RB though). I don't know very much about South Iredell. It appears they have a fairly solid defense and are strong in the trenches. I honestly don't know what to expect here......
