Randleman vs Eastern Randolph " who you got "

Well it's that time of year again...The Tigers and the Wildcats....Based on the last two weeks when
Randleman lost in Double overtime to HPA and ER lost to HPA by a few more than that , I'd say the Tigers were favored. However , with those funny looking helmets they have and that Strong ER defense , I don't see how they can win , do you K12....But just for the sake of conversation , I'll take my Tigers and we will surely see who's the best this year..........What say you Kidd12............

Maddox hey. Thanks for asking. Think the 28-14 score may be close as far as difference but ER will put up more than 2 TDs I think. I would put more in the 28-21 range. I will give the edge to the hideous helmets especially at home however I will be in the smokefield as the Esso tigers enter visitors stands hoping it goes the classy uniforms of ER's way.

If it does go the way of the orange team that would improve their record to 2-8 against the green and gold.

And thanks for the shout out. Always willing to give my opinion.

You got to be more specific. I can't read numbers on almost any of their uniforms.

My prediction, unlike the courier , where they say Randleman all the way but fairly close , I'm going with Tigers 35 and the team with really ugly helmets 13........

I saw a prediction on playoffs at another sight and it had ER playing Mountain Heritage and the Tigers against Jacksonville............what do you rhink?

Sounds about right. They always send ER as far as possible. I am just amazed ER could be in playoffs this year. The expectations for this team were not very high.

I understand the travel deal......I know it was just one mans opinion but I sure hope he is wrong on your game and ours.....Goodness if we go to Jacksonville we will leave on Wednesday just to get there............maybe we get lucky and we both will be at home......

as for tonight , I would really love to come but I have 2 grandsons in a coral concert at Lexington High tonight and one is a junior and the other a senior so I feel like I need to go...( so does my wife )...........hope our JV's remain undefeated......They are pretty darn good.......They shut out HPA.......and had Trinity 44-0 first quarter..........

Kill Devil Hills was a ride for baseball. Mountain Heritage would be too.

Hope tomorrow night is a good game. Would be a nice one for ER to pull the upset. If it was in Ramseur I would give them a good shot to do that but up in Orangeville maybe not so much.

One of projections I saw had ER at West Wilkes and Randleman at Jacksonville. That's still a 2 hour drive for ER but beats 3 1/2. Who knows?

Well I am going to give ER coaches credit for having team wear the green pants with the shirts you cannot read the numbers on. Guess that kept little bird's prediction of 40+ from coming true. Game never did get ugly. In fact except for one turnover for each team was very well played.

And Maddox no matter what happens next week the Tigers will still be south of the Wildcats in the standings.

It really was a good game.

To be fair they have only been in the same conference the last four years. In 2015 Randleman did finish ahead of ER in conference standings, however with last Friday's loss the Tigers have been looking up at the Wildcats the other three years.

Did that sound humble enough? Trying but it is difficult.

Thanks Maddox. I try to be. At end of day every sport I try to remind people sitting around me that we are not playing. We are just watching 15-18 yr old boys/girls doing the best they can. All the screaming and hand wringing in the stands never changes outcome on the field. Heck they usually can't hear it anyway on the field.

Like to talk back and forth with you because of your passion for Randleman. Mine for ER is mainly because I have a child playing those sports and will not be as pronounced once he graduates. You are more a fan of the school.

Good luck to both teams rest of the way. Don't have to "hate" Tigers again until basketball!!

Man I don't even remember back that far. Had just started school that year. I believe it could be a little worse/better than that. As Griddie pointed out in post above Randleman played ER when they had their really good teams in early 1980s and lost then dropped from schedule for whatever reasons.
Records from 70s/80s are hard to find on internet. Think Maxpreps only goes back to 2005.

Maddox good to hear from you. I looked up records to show it wasn't as lopsided as people were saying. Just been that way last 20 or so years. Where can I find baseball records? Took forever to find football.

I hope we play like we did this past Friday night.......It was 26-0 first qrt. with 5:00 min. left
43-0 at half. Handy called off the dogs at that point and our Soph. QB got all 2nd half action and that's a good thing...

Thanks. And I have no idea where to look before MaxPreps came in. Found football records on another Preps site.

Anyway some brackets have Randleman as #2 so should be at home til 3rd round if they get that far. ER is a #4 in most I have seen. That would mean one at home and then a #1 on road if they get that far.
