I know will be smart comments made but why are MA threads sometimes closed when they get a little heated. The thread about conferences was not that bad and was locked. MrMann talked about MA and its fans like a dog saying some pretty bad things and accusing MA of recruiting etc. IK of some good MA people that usually don't post much that e mailed Deana to have these comments stopped. We do have bias on this board from the moderators especially one I will not mention. Go ahead and berate me for posting this if it makes you feel better about your life!

Mods hate Mount Airy because we are competition ! As I have said many times before, Mods should be fair and neutral and not favor teams or posters and hate toward others ! It happens and is talked about on the streets & grocery stores.

Being a Mod is like being the manager at a company, you do not favor any one person or hate on any one person or persons !

You don't see the same discrimination on the 3A board.

I can feel the pain in your words. Perhaps there is a solution. If you go some place once and it is painful for you, then it is their fault. However, if you keep going back, then it is not on them. Perhaps to save yourself this turmoil, this aggravation you should just walk away. This must be devastating to you or why would you not just man up and shoulder on? Save yourself, put away the keyboard.

I said neutral and that is what I meant ! In case you don't know the meaning: not saying or doing anything that would encourage or help any of the groups involved, staying NEUTRAL...... As a photographer I used to tell my subjects to look natural at times. So where is your education level now !

I do make a lot of mistakes but it is my age, what is you excuse.

I said neutral and that is what I meant ! In case you don't know the meaning: not saying or doing anything that would encourage or help any of the groups involved, staying NEUTRAL...... As a photographer I used to tell my subjects to look natural at times. So where is your education level now !

I do make a lot of mistakes but it is my age, what is you excuse.
 
TD we all make mistakes and are wrong a lot. Always someone here to try to put anything you say or do against you in an attempt I guess to make them feel better about what they do idk.

By the way you said natural. That is what sparked the posts on steroids, wigs, etc ... Say what you mean. I don't make excuses, such as when I apologized to a poster about being wrong about when Buncombe county received turf fields. I will admit my mistakes and not hide behind anything.

Here is the hard truth about this so called discussion board. It is only a discussion board when you talk in favor of certain teams but the truth is that for the last 3 years there is a bunch of haters on here because we have had all of them give us there best shot and took care of business and they can’t stand it. That goes for all of them including moderators, owners and especially mountain posters. The only exception is Tarboro and ER fans because we have a mutual respect for each other. So here is a solution instead of bad mouthing, shutting down post, talking about a persons education and any other comments….SHUT UP and bring your boys up to the granite city and knock us off the perch. We will be waiting and it gonna take a lot more than talk and hatred to do that. Walk the walk then talk. Good luck!!!!

Have you ever wondered why you think everyone is harassing you? My grandmother Had a great saying about people like you- "Bless his little heart." Hopefully, your southern enough to get that. BTW, why don't you admit your mistakes? Is your ego that fragile?

Nope not harassing bear fans. Mostly I just respond when they have harassed others . Like when you constantly berate Preps, the very forum that gets you an opportunity to express yourself. To me if an issue is really important this is not the place to address it.

I was almost ready to get off when this came to mind. The BEARS are on a 41-game winning streak and Back-to-Back State Championships so I do believe that does give us some bragging rights. Do you agree or disagree ?
Now I will sleep, you have pushed me too far !

Nobody is jealous of you or the accomplishments of teenagers that just happen to go to the school you attended 30-40 years ago. Your team is having a magical run at the moment just like several teams have done over the years. Their run ended and yours will too. It is just the way the world works. The only problems anyone around here has is from MA and their merry band of mouth breathers that lack the self awareness to understand that this place doesn't revolve around them. They seek pity because their age has surpassed their IQ and blame the website and the folks that run it because they think that everyone is out to get them.

On the flip side, I actually root for the success of their football team. If you look at their 3 best players, one of them has a father that was an all-ACC player at Wake, so obviously I like that and hope he follows in his father's shoes. The other two have fathers that were state champions at Starmount. I think it is really cool that their kids have the opportunity to do the same as teammates.

In the west I give ER the best chance to knock off the Bears. I watched MH against Draughn and don't think their defense will match up with the Bears athletes.

Saw the Bears vs Elkin I don't think the Bears d match up well with our athletes, Erwin is a much more athletic team than Mt. Airy alot bigger too and we beat them, Starmount is closer to Erwin than Mount Airy.

You heritage guys are something else. We sit about 7 guys against Elkin and the only athletes you have are 12 and 24. We are twice your size and your kicking game sucks. Keep hanging on that Erwin game and if you luck you will get to bring that Green Machine down the mountain and find out about athletes. You all couldn’t keep draughn from running only problem the draughn QB wanted to think he was a passer. Plus you had four or five unsportsmanlike and late hit penalties. Can only imagine when you have to play somebody that will hit you in the mouth. If number 12 thinks he gonna run up middle and run wild it will be a short game for him. You better wake up Alice this ain’t wonderland. They say if you gonna dream then dream big. You sure prove that right. SMH

I went to the Starmount vs Mt Airy game I thought Mt Airy was little more athletic. Guess we will find out
