Big time upset with all the injuries the Panthers had coming into this game.

Wow.............give props to Providence.....Congrats and good luck to them next week. They gonna need it bad! Mallard Creek looks like they on a roll. But stranger things had happened before!

The Forsyth Schools as usual. Overrated! I believe Providence had a few starters who did not play.

I wouldn't say overrated they beat the teams on their schedule. Could it be that Providence played one hell of a game?

Means both. #1 seed at home gets beat by the 6-7 best Charlotte school playing without 4 starters including their starting QB. Great East Forsyth offense can only get 21 pts. All I heard all year was how great Beal and Sharpe were.

Great game by Providence but 2nd year in a row the best team in Forsyth county gets beat on their home field . Overrated is exactly what they were.

Well the #2 team overall Indy got knocked out big tonight does that mean they are overrated too? Richmond was beat by Millbrook does that mean they are overrated? Cause it could seem that way to some. Butler was blown out by MC too! Relax with all the overrated talk. Vance was almost beat by the #16 seed and 4th best team in the Piedmont Triad 4A. East played a bad game tonight and Providence played a great game congrats to them!

Indy lost to another Charlotte area school. Forsyth Co doesn't compare to Mecklenburg Co. in football. Not even close

Not trying to compare the two cities. Yes Charlotte has the best teams in the 4AA the championships don't lie.

Not just 4aa. Gonna be a Meck team in the 4a title game as well. In fact it looks like a all Meck final in the West to me because Reagan is gonna really struggle with Catholic up front.

What do all of these big losses have in common? None of them were delivered by a Forsyth County school.

And EF was not in the same kind of situation that Ragsdale was in. EF was gift-wrapped an overall #1 seed that they didn't earn on the field (they weren't undefeated) and had a responsibility to the rest of the state to prove that they were indeed worthy of carrying that banner over a team that WAS undefeated, and over a second team that is your defending state champ.

Ragsdale, on the other hand, barely made the playoffs, were supposed to get crushed last week by Dudley, and were basically playing with house money in a game that no one in the state expected them to win. Those two situations couldn't be any more polar opposites. If anything, I was more impressed with Ragsdale's heart and effort after having a rough season than I was with anything East Forsyth showed tonight.

East Forsyth with that #1 4AA seed (they virtually play in the CPC with its scheduling) Right Now, My pick to take it all is...East Forsyth playing the best, has the best weapons and clicking on all cylinders...Beal, Sharpe, Gentry & Simington are the real deal....Christian Beal is the best RB in the state and he's only a Soph. Welcome to Kernersville! Charlotte teams, you're going to have to earn it.

The Einstien who made the above statement. Makes the same uninformed delusional statements every year. Than like Casper the Ghost he disappears. Hey CPC4LIFE, you just lost to Providence(Charlotte Team). They would not crack the top 5 in Charlotte. They were also pretty banged up, with quite a few starters not dressing. Can you please make a check out to Charlotte Meck Schools, for our gas and meals? Since this happens every year. I can send you a voided check for direct deposit. I believe we earned it. What you think?

LMAO- Welcome to Kernersville, Sounds just like welcome to Clemmons. Best RB in the state?? Amazing what happens to all the best players in the state when they play teams outside of the Triad. Same thing with HPC and West Forsyth.

Still remembering my favorite post when he was listing all the kids that made all-conf in the CPC that were returning for West Forsyth. Some would struggle to start at Meck schools

Catholic has played SC,Northwestern and Mallard Creek. I'm sure Reagan is going to overwhelm them with their Offense? Come on Man! It should be a good game though.

Well please don't lump Forsythe with Guilford on this one. You all know you got lucky with Dudley being out and Ragsdale almost pulled one out on a descent charlotte team. Plus you know what Northern did to Catholic. Also Page a couple years back? Pound for Pound it's hard to compete too down year in AND out but I would say Guilford is definitely in the mix. But Im sure one day Forsythe will return to form... Maybe

Catholic will see a good offense in Reagan. Not the typical forsyth county team.
That was the same thing people said about HPC. That Reagan offense got one TD against West Forsyth. Same West forsyth that couldn't stop Hough. Different football down here, much, much more physical especially upfront.

K-Town put 42 on Reagan with their wing T offense. It will be interesting to see how well their passing game looks against Catholic. Should be a great crowd on Thanksgiving.

Yall need to talk to people from the triad who KNOW football. Who know not to speak on what the don't know or understand. I could have told you about Central from their game with Andrews that they were not a great team. Reagan can toss it, now if yall disrupt up front it may not go well for them... Now they seem to be a savvy ball club bc they understand how to deal w an All american (twice) up front in Tuttle...(beast) so we'll see on this one. But I will definitely say that line play is at a premium in Charlotte with a plethora of great High school studs and yall will dominate run heavy teams but if yall faced more spread teams w good lines and QB play it could serve as an equalizer... Maybe lol

Oh, geez...the irony here.

L Boog...FYI...the post directly above yours was made by a guy who is currently the head coach at a school right dead in the center of the Triad. Do you not think he KNOWS football? Do you not think that he IS speaking on what he knows or understands?

So, what are your qualifications for Triad football expertise...if his aren't good enough?
