You are correct Eagles/Trojans13.Conference seeding doesn't matter unless its a 1 seed. If they tied head to head, then it goes to overall winning percentage and then to maxpreps. That seeding only mattered for conference tournament
You are correct Eagles/Trojans13.
Welcome to the new NCHSAA seeding process, where nonconference counts same as in, except you can drop some of those losses for seeding purposes?
Now why should that be? Kind of goes against new rules huh?
Sorry sometimes I think too much.
You are correct, no conference games can be dropped. If Im not mistaken they're only dropping out of conference due to the hurricane/football playoffs....otherwise they would have all counted?
Not exactly, NCHSAA uses best 22 game record for all sports except for 10 games for Football; and all games, Tennis, Wrestling and Lacrosse. Which means you can drop losses from noncon if you played more than 22 total. If Im not mistaken they're only dropping out of conference due to the hurricane/football playoffs....otherwise they would have all counted?
It is conference winning % per NCHSAAConference seeding doesn't matter unless its a 1 seed. If they tied head to head, then it goes to overall winning percentage and then to maxpreps. That seeding only mattered for conference tournament
It is conference winning % per NCHSAA
my question:James in the tiebreaker is it conference winning % or overall winning %
James: Depends on what part of the process of seeding you’re talking about.
For getting into the playoffs, the tiebreaker is conference %
Nice explanation except conference winning percentage comes after H2H and the adding back in of nonconference losses that were dropped to break tie.
Thanks
