All could be good games.I think SC wins by more than 10 and Vance wins by more than 12. Havelock and NB should be a great game. I would say 71st should be favored to beat Hoggard. Hard to tell what the Vikings have after last weeks game in the pouring down rain.

I agree. That's the problem with the first couple of weeks of the season. It's hard to get a read on a team in the preseason or after just one game. SC could very well win by more than 10. If they did, I wouldn't be surprised. With Indy this season, they have a new coach and several new starters. Nevertheless, was their beat down by Mallard Creek because of Indy not being that good this season or Mallard Creek being, well..Mallard Creek? Probably a combination of both.

I would think that Havelock/New Bern game will be one of the better games statewide. Looks like many good games in the state this week.

Vance has been on the verge of breaking bad the last couple of years. Big Oline and well coached. Many think they are the 2nd best team in Charlotte area.

I think that is a misprint... I don't think Providence has not been ranked in the top 5 anywhere... The Summerville win was a great win and Providence is a well coached team though, but I doubt that jumped them all the way to number four.

Can anyone give some insight as to why Maxpreps might have DHC at 10? They have a nice program going 8-4, 10-3, 10-2 the last 3 seasons, but haven't made it past the 2nd round round. I see them as the 3rd best team in their conference behind NB and Rose.
