So Brevard beats the team that beat the reigning 2a champs 42-6 and Erwin who beat Brevard 56-42 earlier in the year loses to WC 58-0 , how good is WC lol?
Good enough to beat Dudley, Hickory and Crest but the game is about matchups more so than who beat hwo by how much
Defending 2A champs were slightly better than avg this season. They would not have beat anybody south of Statesville, and west of Ashboro

Salisbury couldn't do much with our running game tonight. Rodney Smith #8 and Kylan Polk #6 were running at will. QB looked great again. Only one really bad pass when he was being rushed. Got to do so some work on special teams still. Give up that kick return late. Don't understand the short kickoffs when our kicker can kick it deep. He didn't punt as well tonight and he's one of the best in the state. QB for Salisbury was the biggest problem. When he scrambled he was hard to catch.
If you hit Assboro you've gone too far south
It can be a beautiful place, but like it once was when you passed through Canton, that smell is awful.
Did the Brevard/East Rutherford game not even finish properly? East really quit with time on the clock? Never heard of such of a thing. Big Congratulations to Brevard. Looking forward to traveling up that way next Friday night. We've played Brevard in the past but it's been many years ago.
They are a mix. Speed everywhere. If you get to the QB Chambers the problem is he's one of the fastest guys on the field so someone better better be spying on him all night. If he doesn't have an open receiver he can burn you easy. Then you have Jordan Young the Clemson committ. Another speedster recruited as a safety but play WR also he doesn't leave the field much. He's another handful. Like I've said in a previous comment Monroe is like a track team playing football.

We were tied with Shelby 14-14 at halftime and yall beat us 28-14. Monroe could have put up that in the first quarter on us had they not been penalized like they did. They had 3-4 TD's called back. They are one of the fastest teams I have ever seen. Their front 7 looked like they rushed 9 at times and it was tough to block all of them. We barely had any time to throw the ball and struggled to consistently run the ball. I read Shelby's QB has a broke foot. He will be in trouble if he cannot evade the rush. Upsets happen and Shelby may find a way to win but it is going to take Monroe making some mistakes to help that happen. The QB is like a high school version of Michael Vick. They scored on us in every way you can. Punt Return, KO return, Offense and Defense. You have your hands full but anything can happen.
Be honest u had your jv qb playing, best player on team on bench injuried, other players moved in other positions. Amd bangged up snce u played us
Warlick played QB not our JV QB. We were banged up for sure on offense but our defense wasn't a one man show either. They are very good. Shelby's QB is injured and RB also banged up? Shelby's QB is not very fast at all. That presents a problem for you guys. Once again, I would not be surprised if you guys pulled it off because it has happened time and time again but you will have your hands full more in this game than any you played this year.
Maybe, our D playing best it has all year.. our no.2 rb. Had 150 yrds last night.. no 1. Should be back this week.

ST definitely needs to be cleaned up. Salisbury only had one drive where it had to drive a good portion of the field to score (first drive). Other than that, they had short fields due to KR and a fumble by us (same player fumbled last week at Randleman - didn’t get in again, either) at midfield.
Also, I’m not one to complain about the stripes, but they were atrocious last night. More worried about knee pads being over knees than making clear-as-day calls.
Game was close but shouldn’t have been.
#12 for Salisbury was a Swiss Army knife. QB, probably had the most rushing yards, kicker, and punter. Has to be getting some looks as a kicker. Made a 49-yard FG last night that could’ve been good from 55-60.
Only rumor that I can’t confirm its validity is that some or the majority of the coaches were getting ejected and the players were pulled off the field by them.
Always two sides of the story but that’s the only thing I’ve heard.
